I found that when I have the car locked and my fob in my pocketbook the trunk opens when I push the release. Is that what they mean by remote lift gate release? That's at least half as good as the power lift gate when one has a hand full of stuff.Not to be nit-picky but be careful in your wording. Power lift-gate means it opens and closes by itself. Bruce Z Posted May 26, 2013 Report Share Posted May 26, 2013 Found my lift gate works well if I just raise/kick with the top of my foot right in middle of rear bumper. Works every time so far. The key was in the spot. Only need top of foot within about one inch of underside of bumper. First time I was kicking and waving my foot all over with limited results. fotomoto Posted May 29, 2013 Report Share Posted May 29, 2013 Bruce might have a newer build with the update patch or he may not be letting the sensor go to sleep between kicks.
