Locks, safety when alone?

Recommended Posts

This is for the Keyless Entry (Keyfob).  Is there any way to have JUST the driver door open when pulling handle (keyfob in pocket)?  The way mine is set up now is that passenger door also opens when pulled.  Been okay so far, but what if I'm in parking lot at night alone and don't want someone to be able to enter from right side of car unless I manually unlock it?

Is it all on, or all off?  I sure like not having to dig through my purse for the key, but maybe I should have the setting changed if there's no way to lock out the passenger door.

Going to revive this from the dead.

Isn't 2 stage unlocking just when pressing the FOB keys, not unlocking by pulling the handle with FOB in pocket? New owner, and I'm still wrapping my head around someone being able to open my car just cause I'm standing nearby. I highly doubt this will ever result in problems, just weird.

The car won't unlock if a passenger touches the handle (unless they have a FOB). I have this happen a lot - my passenger will touch their handle, and then the car won't open for me. They have to remove their hand, THEN I can touch the handle to unlock the car.
