Ready made CMax rear spoiler

Found this spoiler on the web designed and mounted on a Euro CMax by a auto tuner in Germany named Loder1899.  Lists it for $219US.  But I can't find any contact info with them to see about having one shipped to California.  This is all I've wanted to try and design myself.  They made it out of urethane so why should I bother any further trying to make my own.  Now if I could just contact them?

The spoiler looks like an interesting place to try your gas pods.

I never would have thought of that location for placement. I would think that extending roofline would be the way to go. I wonder whether that placement does anything to improve fuel economy. Even if it doesn't, if that location serves to improve the dirt suction to the rear, I'd do that in a second.

Not sure of any functionality  ScubaDadMiami, I want it for curb appeal and hopefully it will also help with the dirt problem?  I feel Ford missed the boat with not putting something like this from the beginning it just looks cooler to me.  But what do I know I'm just an aerodynamics sort of guy.

If you contact them keep us informed.

Be sure to check on their color options.

I noticed they take "PayPal"

Yes Wab paypal works for me, I will be posting once I get one from them.  I'm assuming they mount it with high strength 3M gel adhesive?  I'm not drilling any holes in my tailgate.

The 3M double sided foam tape works great, but get it lined up right the first time. LOL :)

I checked Spain, Germany and the UK.

I think we'll be paying a body shop (I know one...ggeerr) for most US colors.

I'll print the picture and get an estimate Monday.

Geez this is becoming an expensive mod to Maxus. I might not paint it to match my car, I can shoot it with Plasti-dip and change the color to suit my moods for allot less. If I buy their professional power sprayer it looks pretty good after spplying the gloss finish coat and pearlizer so it looks more like the factory color.

or in shocking green or hot pink when I'm in a weird mood. Nice thing about plasti-dip is if your mood changes you can rip off the rubberized paint. Clean it and ready for another color of dip. Love this stuff.

Well,......I kind of wonder about Water running down the window and,............sitting right their at the base of the spoiler.  Not saying it would be a huge amount, but a little amount of water pooling up at the base and after a couple years,.......the appearance of rust?

I once owned a Honda CRX Si which had door moldings,.......the water got under the door moldings and starting totally ruining my doors as the rust started protruding through the door and from under the door molding. Course this was after some 6 to 7 years but still.

Now if you live in a "Dry" climate area, not an issue.

I’ve installed a couple of spoilers over the years.

This spoiler wouldn’t change the value of the C-Max like some add-on’s do.

AND it is scary drilling that first hole!

It would be interesting to see the supplied installation instructions.
