The user manual explains how to temporarily fix a flat using the TMP (small air compressor and sealant) it goes to note "After sealant use, the TPMS sensor and valve stem on the wheel must be replaced by an authorized Ford dealer". Anyone had to do this yet? Sounds a bit pricey for fixing a flat.

My dealer had no clue about the TMP....in fact, they didn't even know where it was in the car. They said "they sent an email to Ford to tell them where it was located on the car." What I did was a huge unusual step.....I actually opened the owners manual and looked it up!! And guess what....it tells you exactly where it is and how to use it. Now I wonder why the dealer couldn't do that??? Anyway...haven't tried it...hope I never have to.

I searched the pdf version of the c-max manual on my phone for "mobility" and found detailed instructions for use. Now whats odd is the vent they placed directly on top of the mobility kit?

I doubt the TMPS are very expensive, which is why I plan to carry one along with me since I doubt your normal tire shop will stock them. The bigger deal for me is that the manual does not mention the safe places to lift the car with a jack in the event that I would need to change a tire or work on it.
