Check out this page - there's a video about 2/3 of the way down.

I just washed and waxed using Nu Finish (no clay bar). It took a long time as I think the temp had something to do with it (about 50 in my garage).  I noticed some imperfections on the driver's door paint.  Lots of little bumps or red dots.  Standing back, you can't see it but you can under a light.

For those of you who like old jokes, "Why is cleaning your car like the phases of the moon?"  Answer (ideally in a Bugs Bunny voice) - After waxing, it wanes.

And then there's the no clay bar / 'never needs waxing' option:

Just washed & it is brilliant!

Anybody put their rear windshield wiper blade in a plastic bag before using a mechanical car wash?  If so, why?

Thanks

I don't, but the car wash attendants do.  No clue as to why.
