Headlamp Behavior

Recommended Posts

I mentioned this in another thread, but thought I would open a new topic here.

I have the SE model and I have noticed that when I have the headlamp switched to on (not auto) the headlamps go off immediately when I turn the ignition off.

I would prefer if the lights would stay on until I switch them off. Does anybody know if there is a way to adjust this?

On my SEL there is a setting on the right info screen that controls lights off delay. It was defaulted to no delay.

I think it is there on the SE as well, I recall seeing it when I was playing with the menus on the left side screen, there were settings for adding delays like 20, 60, 90 seconds or something like that. It was under info>lighting. The timer starts once the doors are locked I think.

UPDATE, I was wrong about where the settings were. They are under Settings>Vehicle>Lighting>Home Light. That is where the delay can be set for Manual, 20sec, etc.
