I'm getting the door open alarm when the doors and tailgate are closed.  Car at dealer now for fix.  Anyone else experience this?

Not on my c-max but got it on my ford explorer, was just a bad switch in the door.

Replaced it myself.  Was about $15 part off ebay.

Dealer states that my problem, false door open alerts, is being caused by a defective door latch rplacement that was a Ford recall.  New replacement being installed today.

Meaning the part was defective or the installation?
