Rear Shocks change 180K miles

Recommended Posts

I started noticing a rough ride about 5-10K miles before I had time to address the issue. I thought possibly it might be a balance issue. The rear tires had an usual wear pattern. Shocks were the most likely cause. New rear tires and shocks made it drive like a new vehicle again.

What was the wear pattern ?

It would have been interesting to me to examine the used shocks.  Were they equally weak ?
