I think that converts to 40.5 mpg.Going to get the windshield replaced before winter, along with new tires. I won't be able to make it through a winter with the tread I have left. Spitinuri Posted December 30, 2017 Author Report Share Posted December 30, 2017 I have just crossed 220K miles. The car is still running great. The latest issue is related to the door latch recall. Ever since I have had this done the front windows make that screeching noise (reminiscent of a chalkboard and nail combination). It was initially treated with a little window grease. There are many high mileage C-Max (running or retired) taxis from NYC that are not mentioned here. 56HotRod Posted February 12, 2018 Report Share Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) Brand new 2017 Titanium. Had it four weeks. I just have 200 miles on it so far and only used a little over 1/4 tank. This is my first hybrid, and I'm excited about getting it broken in and better mileage out of it. I'm sure it will be better when it gets warmer out. mtb9153 Posted April 9, 2018 Report Share Posted April 9, 2018 Mike when you shut off the 2013 CMAX in the Smart Display it will show you current trip numbers for approx. 10 sec. and then switch to Life Time numbers. By that I mean, lets say I just pulled in the driveway with almost a full charge showing. I go in the house but I comeback in 5 minutes to drive off again. I push the start button and there’s a horrible shaking as the engine kicks in. The battery on the instrumentation panel shows basically zero. Where did all my electrical reserves go? There isn’t an electrical drain running that I know of? This doesn’t happen every time, sometimes I can come back and start after 30minutes and my reserves are still there. This can’t be good? nsteblay Posted April 11, 2018 Report Share Posted April 11, 2018 110,000 on my 2013 Silver C-Max SEL. Been wonderful, no problems, 42 MPG lifetime average. 25,000 on my Red 2017 C-Max SE. Also a great car - 44.1 MPG average this last year. I really like these cars. New plugs and air filter, New cabin air filter and new wiper blades. Someone asked earlier if it was the original traction battery and the answer is yes.
