Mad C max Posted June 2, 2017 Author Report Share Posted June 2, 2017 Cmax is a good car. Turns out mine doesn't have The right software for myford touch. No diagnostics to the smartphone. Damn check engine light keeps coming on, shows evap leak code every few months. I blast the gas tank valve with compressed air, spray WD-40 and work the refill funnel in and out several times, and air blast again. Worked to shut off CEL last 3 times. The outer gas door gets gets very dirty on the inside. I'll start wiping it more often. Seems the smallest dust grain on the valve will trigger the CEL.
