bbfogel Posted September 24, 2017 Report Share Posted September 24, 2017 Hi everyone, I have a 2013 C-Max with about 40,000 miles. For several months the plastic dashboard panel under the touchscreen that surrounds the audio system controls has rattled quite a bit, especially over rough pavement or when the engine comes on. I have gaffers tape which I really like. Maybe stuffed in a crack. Taking apart the panel seems too big a deal for me. grege Posted September 12, 2019 Report Share Posted September 12, 2019 I'm going to have to try this access with our 2018 cmax as that top center console panel (atop of the screen) rattles like a buzzer even on smoother roads. jestevens Posted September 12, 2019 Report Share Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) Ford service shop has some sort of "stop squeak tape" that they sometimes use to pad things since there are a lot of plastic trim pieces on these cars. Next time you take it in for service maybe they'll help? Otherwise maybe you can use your own double sided tape?
