I have a leak coming from heater hose  that is leaking on to a plastic plug on passenger side of firewall on to the ground a little. I visually saw it dripping coolant. I tried to remove plastic panel on  passenger side of lower console,  I haven't been able to get it to release from fasteners holding it and I'm afraid I'm going to break it. It shows a pointed flat tool in the service manual but I don't know how you could use it.   I thought about using stop leak, but I think that is a last resort. I have been waiting to drop MADMAX off at the Dealer but they are backed up for another week, I have been waiting for 10 days so far.  Anyone have any ideas? Thanks :)

Posting a few photos of what you're dealing with and the service manual should help others provide some guidance.

Are you trying to remove the plastic piece on the left passenger side center console?

Yes :)  I'm pulling hard enough I'm worried about breaking it. I thought it would pop out easier than this. Your pic doesn't look like the CMAX panel. The panel goes all the way back to the back of the console.  I have made some more  progress and I'm trying to remove the glove compartment to pull the panel out. I unscrewed four screws from glovebox but it feels solid still. I haven't been able to find anything in Service Manual on how to remove glovebox yet. :sad:Attached File  console.JPG   95.55KB   1 downloads

OK.Here's some snips showing how to remove glove box and side console panel.  Interesting, that the 2014 side panel (my pic above) is different from the 2013 side panel below.
