First visit to Dealer for adjustment?

Just pickedup the C-Max last Wednesday, and noticed a rattle in the rear area driving away from the dealer, heading back to work.  I did not think it was anything major, so thought I would see if anything else came out in the first few days. Going in Monday to be checked.

My guess is it relates to the rear hatch, as you hear it mostly on uneven surfaces, but seems to be happening more.  Will report what they find.....it is my only comment so far.

My C-Max has already recognized home at EV+ proximity after just a few days.  I have over 200 miles on already and avg MPG is at 37.5, blend of mostly city and some freeway driving.  Man I wish the EV would run over 65mph!

I have been stopped twice by people in parking lots asking me what kind of car it is and how it drives!

FYI, found a couple things:

1. If you have a rattle comig from the rear wheels:  THe brake caliper on my right rear wheel was loose, the bolts were cross-threaded and had to be replaced.

2. If you have the "open sesame" rear hatch, there is a TSB for operation, and adjustments were made.  Mine had a couple times when it woudl unlatch but not rise up.  That is supposed to be fixed with the TSB.

FYI, My last new Ford PU, I kept track of the TSBs and went to the dealer when ever I found one, because they never did call me and tell me there was one to be done

it is free while your vehicle is still in the new warrenty period, and suppose to bring it up to date with the latter autos sold after you got yours. I had 5 TSB done on my 2000 SD250.

It's one of the things you need to keep up with, if your in for service, you would be lucky if they bring it up.
