This may be related. Yesterday, the radio in my 2013 that was on when I stopped the car to get groceries, but it was off when I got back in after shopping. I tried to turn it back on, but it wouldn't, even after turning the car off and on a few times. When I went to drive the car today, the battery was dead and nothing worked. After jumping the car to get it started, I got the SYNC reboot on the display and then the radio was back on and the car ran fine. Oddly, the dashboard "My View" display was totally different than it had been. Any ideas what's going on here? Thanks.

My 2013 SEL has about 42,000 miles. No major repairs or fixes, just regular maintenance and recalls. Lifetime MPG is 41. It improved with age for the first three years, and has now leveled off. Wondering about new tires this winter. Any recommendations?

I've been looking for the rear window deflectors for a long time now, and I think my best bet may be a junk yard, or auto glass repair shop that is replacing a broken rear window, but the plastic deflectors are still in tact. Probably a long shot to find, but I'm keeping my eyes open. I agree that CarPlay would be nice, and it looks like we won't be able to upgrade our older MyFordTouch systems.

13B07 Rocks! :yahoo: Got the headliner and Powertrain Control Module update done yesterday, and what a difference in just what I've seen so far. The ICE does seem to run at higher RPM's at times, but since I almost never had the tach visible I can't give actual stats. Battery has higher charge more often. EV mode at 65+ mph. I filled up the tank before driving around town yesterday evening, and I was seeing MPGs of high 40s and low 50s for almost the first time ever. After about an hour of mainly city driving the dashboard MPG is at 48, and when I got to work this morning, it was at 48.2. Nice improvement, as I'd been seeing around 43 before the update. Go now and get the 13B07 update done on your C-Max! Also regarding the headliner, I can't see any evidence of the additional padding, or tampering with the headliner, so don't worry about it.

Yes, we've heard a whistling sound while driving pretty slowly in town, but haven't been able to identify that it's coming from the mirrors. It's a distinct whistle noise, but it's only happened a few times in the 8+ months we've owned the C-Max.
