  1. And you don't even have 2,000 miles on the car yet!!! Imagine what you'll be doing when the car is *broken in*!! I'm going right now to add your name to the list. Congratulations kostby, and welcome to the 600+ Mile Club. PS....I'm using the car's stated MPGs....that's what we've been using for everyone else.
  2. Welcome Kelleytoons! You are our 2,301 member! Unless you retired at 50, we are probably of the same generation. I predict you will LOVE your C-MAX! I have a 2013 SEL that i special ordered and couldn't be happier with it. I got all the bells and whistles, and some I haven't even used yet, like Park Assist. Can't wait to hear your thoughts after you've driven for a few days. There are some amazing, intelligent, creative, and resourceful folks on this forum. You'll have some fun reading, and then figuring things out as you go along. Please don't hesitate to throw a question out there if you don't see an answer you need. With folks on both coasts, there's almost always someone on here. Again, welcome!
  3. Congratulations! And welcome to the club shinytop!!! You are our 60th Member!!! :yahoo: Can't wait to see what you do next!!
  4. Laurel, I took Jelly in for an oil change on Friday and they did the recall at the same time. Drop off about 7:30 am, Pick up about 9 am, with both done. The only inconvenience (MINOR) that I can see is my favorite places now have to be reset, and my new tank of +49 mpg dropped dropped dramatically to 25, but it's all good. I'm back to 45 now :)
  5. Hi knahs42, and welcome, I'll do a better *welcome* later (I'm at work now), but to answer your question, Without hesitation, I would buy my C-MAX again. I love this car!
  6. :clapping: Loved reading your post Bandit, and welcome to our (mostly) happy little C-MAX family! Sounds like you and your car are a perfect match! Have fun learning all the cool stuff it does. Some you may never use, some you'll wonder how you ever drove without! Tons of reading and even more helpful folks here. Glad to have you!
  7. I love it!!! Did you design them?
  8. Gee, when you break your old PR, you really crush it! Can you tell summer is here in the midwest?!!! Well done HP! That's just super! So nice to see these higher numbers rolling in once again. I'll get your name in it's proper new place this morning. Congrats!
  9. Seriously? Second tank???? That's amazing! Way to hit the ground running rjdeeme29! I will get your name on the Honor Roll *toot sweet!*

Welcome Maxx! We are happy that you found us.......and that you've already found some answers to your questions! If you've had your C-MAX for 10 months, you've probably learned a lot on your own, but there are still tips and tricks to be found, and lots of good reading. Our members are a very helpful group! There is such a wealth of knowledge and experience here that it amazes me sometimes. Because many of us have been here since the *Dark Ages* of 2012, there is probably not much with the C-MAX that someone hasn't experienced, so if you don't find an answer, by searching, then fire away with the question. Tell us more about you, if you want.....what part of the country are you in? Nice warm climes or areas with frigid winters? Mountains or flat lands? City or country? What led you to your choice of the C-MAX? (Sorry if that's being too nosy) Have a great weekend!
  11. Hi HP, To be perfectly honest, the winter was so grim, plus I had other things on my mind, that I didn't really pay attention to the brake score % I looked at the MPGs, sighed, wished for summer, and let it go at that. This is the first pix I've taken of the end screen in probably 10 months.
  12. If you've been here a while, you know that I drive the same route to and from work every day. 17 miles of rolling back roads, a couple of stop lights and stop signs, speeds from 30-50 mph. It's a peaceful, usually uneventful route in my little Zen car. My previous best on this route was last August when I got 61.3 MPGs. Today was even better.....63.1!! This was driving the speed limit and with AC. I love my C-MAX! Now, let's see if I remember how to upload a picture! 63 by JellyBean439, on Flickr
  13. Woo Hoo!!! Way to go Frank! Nice way to start off the summer......and summer does make a difference, doesn't it? I have a question for you......do you see much impact from using the AC? Mine has little to no effect on my mileage......nothing like using the heater in the winter. And I do use the AC just about every day now. Oh, and I'll get Post 1 updated right away  (10 min. later) Hey, wait a sec.......did you just jump in at 707 miles here? Skipped right over the 600 level? WOW!
  14. Can I like this post more than once?? How about LOVE it?!
