Steinway B piano action. 3 sets of tools/supplies for piano repair. Room for 3 adults in our C-Max. -
It's a B, commonly referred to as a parlor(baby) grand. The concert grand is a D, and is wider by a few inches. But the D will fit also, according to the tape measure.

Steinway B piano action. 3 sets of tools/supplies for piano repair. Room for 3 adults in our C-Max today. Did I mention the kickgate? It rained today-all day(which just doesn't usually happen in El Paso) :wub2: the kickgate!

If you hold the unlock button on the fob for (I think 5 sec or so) it will roll down all the windows. Perhaps the fob was in a place where the button got pushed on accident. The other thread has people mentioning it may have hit something in their pocket or purse.

Air flow from vents won't go where I want it
slampro replied to osiebosie's topic in Climate Control
I love the "hidden vent" and the lower one to the left of the steering wheel. They both blow right at my lap/stomach area, feels great to me. I don't like the cold air blowing directly on my face. -
I'm not sure if the car voice volume is the same as that to generate ring tone. My best guess would be call your cell while in car. When the radio cuts out, try turning up the volume.

You also did something(painted?) to make your calipers red. It really makes the wheels pop. I like that look. :hat_tip:  Have been wondering if I should copy it, but I am not very handy, and well..yeah, let's just leave that right there. ;) I know it peels off, and can be easy to use. But "whatever can go wrong".....I find a way to make that happen when I venture outside my specialties. I usually end up making more mistakes, and the end result is usually a bit "off".

I'm not even trying to hypermile or anything. I'm just driving. Same route, same driving style I-10 @ 60-65mph.

Same driving style, same route I-10 @60-65mph. It just keeps getting better. -
You can adjust the volume of the car voice. Just push the volume button as it talks. There is probably another way, that I am not thinking of at the moment. In my F150(which had sync) I adjusted the car ringtone volume. I just pushed volume buttons as it rang. Again probably another way to do it, but it worked for me. I haven't done it in the Cmax yet, but I would think it would be the same.

Job 3 C-Maxes missing Lifetime Summary??
slampro replied to hybridbear's topic in General Discussion
Well, I don't see lifetime summary when I turn the car off. I also do not see it as I look through the menu screen. Our car was built 7/19/13. I didn't notice it until I saw this thread. That is kind of a bummer and :headscratch: . Would not be a deal breaker for me, as I have never had a car that tracked that anyway. -
Post-tint. 25% rear, 35% front. Dealer installed 1 week after purchase at 300 miles. http://s1122.photobucket.com/user/slampro/slideshow/Cmax

I think I may look for some aftermarket weather stripping to put in there. Would not be expensive, and should install easily.
-
Well, I won't be trying to intentionally break that record. ;)

Hehe. It's not really that. I have been driving for a living for 20+ years. I am pretty darn good at predicting the idiots. I have only had 1 accident, and that was some guy rear ending me. Also haven't had a ticket for 15+ years. It's more like ......WOW I have a fast little car, instead of an F150, or the Escape(which is not fast). I am enjoying driving it very much. So much so that when the guy in the mustang, charger, etc comes speeding up and wants to swerve around traffic and cut me off in my "safe zone", I am able to speed up and close the gap he thought he saw. Then I LOVE the looks I get when people realize I am a hybrid. I have been watching people go around me for years because I drive an Escape hybrid. Now I get to show them hybrids don't have to be slow. If I wanted to increase the numbers I could. I just like driving it, and am happy to get 40+. I will probably settle down, but for now.............I'm having fun (Safely).

The speed limit on the interstate for these results is 60mph. I do about 65ish, hitting 70 if needed. CC off. Two of these drives are during rush hour, one AM(which was really bad for El Paso, stop&go on I-10). One is PM heavy, steady flow of traffic.

I am no hypermiler. I'm no race car driver either. I drive with one goal. Safety. I drive the speed limit +/- 5mph. If traffic dictates, I will go 10(or even more)mph over, only to get to a point where I can get over to the slower lane. The speed limit on the interstate for these results is 60mph. I do about 65ish, hitting 70 if needed. CC off. Two of these drives are during rush hour, one AM(which was really bad for El Paso, stop&go on I-10). One is PM heavy, steady flow of traffic. The other is around 1:00pm today. Car built on 7/19/13 with the FE improvements done at factory. p.s. On each end of the interstate run is a 2-3 miles city drive to destination.

Well alrighty then. Just seems like there should be something there.

I noticed something that seemed kind of weird. There is a gap along the top of my windshield between the roof.(see pics below). Looks like water could get in there, and maybe cause some problem(s)? I looked at our 2008 Escape, 2004 Ranger. They both have rubber around the upper edge. Is there something missing here? Also, here is a few shots of a couple recent trips.

I agree to get it checked out. But....On my Escape hybrid I have always used auto, set about 72-76 degrees in the summer, with the recirculate button on. In the C max, I have had it set at auto 73 degrees. I push the recirculate button on. In neither car have I had hot outside air blow in. The a/c fan does slow down after the car is cooled, and the temp of the air does change some, but I have not had hot air blow on me. I am not an a/c addict, but I have been perfectly comfortable. We have the pano roof, and just got the windows tinted today.
