  1. Forscan is the Ford equivalent to Dr. Prius as far as I know.
  2. TPMS light could mean that one or more tires are low in air pressure. It could also mean one or more pressure sensors in the wheels has failed. IF the light blinks on startup then after a little bit goes solid I think it is highly likely that the battery has died in one of the TPMS pressure sensors. The sensors can be replaced. (I don't remember if they need to be programmed into the car's computer). I like Dorman Products TPMS sensors. (I checked for a 2013 the part # is 974-066, (they use 315 MHz frequency). Hopefully Ford did not make a change mid production, ie 2015)...
  3. I too definitely miss the Energi forum, and all the data shared in it... As I learned when I became a moderator of this forum and one other that I am on, there appear to be different levels of hierarchy in the moderator realm. I am just happy that I am able to help clean up spam to keep this forum running, (better than no C-MAX forum, so I can't complain).
  4. I can only guess that someone high up did not like the direction a certain member's or members' posts were leading on that forum. (This is my guess). Hence why the forum data has not been migrated....
  5. Splitvolt 24A NEMA 14-30 is available on Amazon in two lengths. I wouldn’t downgrade to a 20 A receptacle.
  6. When I joined as moderator there was no talk about the Energi forum. I was just explained my duty and that an approval system was going to be placed to prevent spam. Actually we were asked to kind of vote on that matter… I’m afraid I’m not sure why the site was basically taken down but have only conjecture as to why….
  7. That’s an engine coolant pump code. If you are confident the code reader you got is accurate it may need replacing. https://www.aboutautomobile.com/Diagnostic-Trouble-Code/P26CB
  8. Tire Rack lists this tire as a Michelin Total Performance tire. It appears that this statement is their goal (quoted from the Michelin website): With MICHELIN tires, drivers get safety, driving pleasure, fuel savings and longevity. I read up on this a long time ago and my memory is getting vague on the specifics. My memory says that worn tires have less rolling resistance than new tires. Would you say that it plays a factor in your 10% loss, negligible, or is my memory off completely, ( in which case I apologize)?
  9. Hello, Recently spam has been getting through the forum filters. I have contacted the other moderator and the administrator to investigate possibilities of changing the settings but in the meanwhile please continue to report them and I will hide the posts. Thanks, Jesse
  10. Try this site with your VIN: https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/
  11. It's hard for me to say because we haven't had our C-MAX since 2018. And we didn't opt for that feature. I would say that since the button seems to not function as expected I would start with trying to check/replace that. (I'm guessing a lot less expensive than a module).
  12. There is a button to turn on or off the feature that I would try pushing if you haven't yet?

    Hello

FWD cars tend to have wide turning radii, at least seems that way....
  14. Where are you driving when this happens? Is it a big steep mountain? How many mi on the car? Has the oil been changed recently? Gasoline used, meaning brand and grade? If there are no codes it may be functioning fine just a specific road condition like steep uphill?
  15. Best to have the car scanned via OBD2 for codes. Then post the codes here for more detailed help.

    Hello

The suspension is pretty tough I would guess it only needs an alignment. If the alignment won't go back to within tolerance/specs then I hope the alignment shop can help replace whatever may be bent.
  17. I believe the basis for the warranty difference depends on what state the car was initially sold. You could try with AutoNation in Tustin or Theodore Robins in Costa Mesa. I noticed there is a fourth dealer not too far away in Huntington Beach. It took visits to different dealerships (as well as contact with Ford Customer Service) to resolve a My Ford Mobile issue we had.. I would try to find which state it went into first service from one of them or calling Ford directly with your VIN.
  18. Cool, it's back as intended. ?
  19. Welcome! One question, where is Lon Gisland??? J/K I hope you don't mind I edited it for you. If I'm mistaken let me know and I'll put it back. Enjoy your C-MAX. I still wish my wife would have kept ours...
  20. Thule makes a set for both normal and panoramic, the kit is the exact same...
  21. When I emailed Green Tec a while ago they responded that they had a battery for the Energi. Best Hybrid Batteries came up from a Google search. I haven't read of them prior. It does note they've "sold 24" so hopefully someone can remark/review...
  22. First time I saw an Energi specific battery for sale (EDIT to correct link address. Thank you @raucous. They must have changed the address, the page still says "2015"): https://www.besthybridbatteries.com/products/ford-c-max-energi-2013-2018-plug-in-hybrid-battery
  23. I believe Greentec Auto sells them: https://www.greentecauto.com/hybrid-batteries/ford
  24. Tungsram +120 from were mentioned as best on this thread, just passing the word along... https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/best-h1-bulb-currently.479006/ Of course a place to buy them would be nice: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html
