  1. Thanks Homestead. For the price that’s definitely worth a try. To be honest, I’m amazed anyone else even knew about that hole so it’s great to see a possible solution so quickly.
  2. Strange request here but a strange situation so I will give it a shot… On the passenger side of my 2017 Energi, next to the center console: if you approach that area at the floor from the behind the seat, there is a 1” wide hole where the floorboard meets the seat track. Well, we lost a hearing aid in there. Somehow it landed behind that opening when we dropped it between the seat and console. I saw it and stuck my finger in to grab it and it disappeared, maybe dropping down deeper below the floorboard. So, is there any viable way to get into that space to retrieve it or am I stuck having to either go to a body shop or just replace the heating aid?
  3. Why is the Outside temp./other reading so far in the orange? Was this a really cold day? Mine is always orange like that and had been orange even after a day in the 70's. What could the "other" factors be?
  4. Hi all. I am a fairly new owner of a C-Max 2017 Energi, which I bought in December last year. Love the car and even though the battery only charges to 3.5kWh, I can live with it given its 5 years old on purchase. Now that the weather is finally warming up I am looking forward to seeing how the battery might respond to better temperatures. I did have a question though. At the end of my trips, I always get a mileage per charge log which also gives three bar scales for "driving style", "climate control", and "outside air/other" and how they help or hurt the mileage. Through the winter the driving style and climate control were always slightly green (I did not use the heater except in ICE mode). However, the "outside air/other" bar was always a very long orange, which I attributed to very cold winter temperatures. However, this week the lows have been in the 40's and the highs in the 70's - and the "outside air/other" bar *still* shows a long orange after my trips. I would doubt it would be outside air causing the orange so what could this be? Would the simple fact that the battery has degraded to hold less charge cause that reading? Or could there be something else causing it that suggests I should have someone check it out? I would love some advice. I have looked all over the manuals and online but can't find any discussion of this particular charge mileage screen with the three bars. Any ideas? (and nice to meet all of you!) -LT
