  1. Its tough to do the 700, let alone the 800....conditions :airquote: the stars :gold_star: have to be just right and you better pray the leprechaun riding a unicorn pays you a visit to drop you the bucket of MPG gold . Yeah I know.... :needphotos:
  2. :happy feet: Good stuff, goes to the top of the pile :victory:
  3. Easy Peasy. Enjoying the evening, had the windows down and cruising next to her...she was quiet and so was Maxine.
  4. I had this happen once to me...I just purchased a bottle of peach schnapps, tossed it in the back. On that day I thought I would wash the car....so I parked on the driveway. Popped open the liftgate and I heard a CLUNK....so I :headscratch: ...then I realized.... :kookie: ...then I ..... :gaah: .....then I :swear: but then I .... :finger: The driveway had the :airquote: slightest slope, I swear. Back I went and got another bottle....ssssh....learnt my :rtfm:
  5. Model X is nice (with the "gull wing" doors, no side air brakes aka side mirrors) but you get what you pay for. I don't think I have any problems buying an Energi from Galpin Ford, they know what they are doing and the service manager know me. I just think its important to find a dealer who is trustworthy and know what they are doing, case in point - the horrid stories of the 3.5.1 updates. Good luck with the Model X Valkraider :)
  6. Diesel is a choice, or the Mazda 3 with the SkyActiv which they are advertising as 40MPG highway - we get that and a tad more with ICE High MPG..dancing baby :headspin:
  7. Nope...can't recall but feel free to search. cant expect me to remember over 1,500 posts.
  8. Today I had to go shopping at Vallarta and I bought some veges, a sack of Idaho potatoes and a 23lb watermelon. Paid for the groceries and I had 3 plastic bags, 1 plastic sack of potatoes and a huge watermelon...no trolley in sight :superhero: No worries...had a great work out session in the gym so I am ready for a little big more weight. On my left hand I carries the plastics bags and sack of potatoes. On my right, I grabbed onto the watermelon to my side. Handsand arms were full...and I started walking back to the car. Damn...the keys are in my zipped pocket. Oh, I own a CMax...with a powerlift gate....funny about that....I don't need my key..... Walked to the back, 1 kick and :rating: it opened! So I unloaded the watermelon first (nearly rolled out....the little b*gger) and then the groceries. Sorry, I had to post this - I totally :wub2: this hands free power liftgate. Also, no more 1 or 2 kick or "it does not work" roundhouse or spinning kicks...its :airquote: jus plain WORKS :yahoo: with 1 kick now :happy feet: Anymore 1 kick stories out there?
  9. Yeah, I know it was a Fusion but I typed it up as a Focus...me bad..., thanks for the clarification and glad you enjoyed the writeup :) ...and welcome to the Forum  I can't wait to go back, now that I have my 3.5.1 update and would like to see the improvements (if any) that Ford Motor has given us stealthy. Mind you it still could be breakin since we don't know really when this peaked. Amazing, amazing. Also, the warmup time is alleged to be shorter as well...we shall see. So lots and lots of things to look out for so keep an eye on this thread as we get to the end of the year ;)
  10. :congrats: I jus tanked up this afternoon...jus coincidence... :skateboard:
  11. Holy Molly, that's 800+ tank there if u keep that up for 7 more days. New record for sure. I don't think I was that high , prolly 1 mpg less. Keep going
  12. ..not yet, soon. :skateboard:
  13. I question if there is sludge or not. No one has ever stuck a camera in there and these are all brand new cars with new tanks. I doubt given the age and the lack of tanks, its an issue. If we are talking a 10 yr old car, then thats different.
  14. Yep. You better learn to feather and hope the gas station is close and not up hill ;)
  15. 35% beat that. Better to stop. Ps it was a lowly 75.7 mpg run :spend:
  16. 45,000 a year, that would be one of the highest here along with Matt and ptjones. ptjones is already 30,000+. Go for it fellas :headspin: I don't see any significant FE changes either...but I have not done one of my Camarillo/Oxnard runs. No time that I have an 9-5 office job and how do I even factor any further engine break-ins with that also? Its really hard to quantify.
  17. Go to bottom left hand corner, click on "Change Theme" and select "Mobile". ;)
  18. Its the new software as I never came close to 50 on my second or 47 or 44 or 42....dwindling away there, check out my early fuelly stats.
  19. 17,000+ miles 97%. To me, these brake scores are meaningless - whether I get 97% or 99% or 100% it makes no difference as it does not effect my MPGs bottomline. But thats jus me... :shift:
  20. Imo, 50:1 prii vs cmax. They don't call this Prii City for nothing. But I am seeing a slow increase in Cmaxs, even drove next to one for a few miles, can even tell if she was EVing :victory:
  21. I think one huge advantage is the size of the Energi battery where under the right terrain, will capture more charge than the regular cmax...for example the Sherwin grade from Toms Place to Bishop which is a 8+ long grade. Maxine is full Batts not even 1/4 of the grade, what a waste. .. :spend:
  22. Well.... Happy Matt... :superhero:
  23. Trip summary truncates but does not round from what I observed. So a 0.28 gallons is still showing as 0.2 as the gallons used, although the MPG is right with the factoring of the 0.08 though.
