  1. C'mon snitGTS....go boy,....go!!!!!! Play well as well ;)
  2. AC will definitely kill it. Glad to see you're mastering the car....shall I pen you down for the 600 Club in a couple of weeks time? ;) Thanks mate. You know the SF valley so I am telling you this and right now, just driving around between Lankershim and all the way to Valley Circle, and Ventura and Devonshire (south/north) this is easily a 60+ MPG car - jus plain valley flat driving with lights and all. Outstanding :shift:
  3. Some stats for today... Overall Tank Todays total run Not everything is perfect, see my post above...uphill after shopping.
  4. Matt, yeah...I too cannot fault this car for MPG but there will always be BLACK HOLE zones where no matter what you do, you WILL BURN gas, even to keep up with traffic. I just got back from a short 5.4 mile drive and got 43.6MPG but yet, if you consider the EV miles to overall, its still 75% but being uphill, I had to burn some gas...but far too many people will be too upset with this low number...not realizing that the overall for the day was a jaw dropping 64.2MPG over 62.9 miles for this work day. Also, how is it that you and I can get these crazy numbers? I hypermile but what I do is pretty basic...and how does this not translate for other owners here aka mtb? Adair? Do you and I just happen to have more favourable terrain, have more surface streets? I use to drive > 50% freeway before my change in job and even then I was still 49+ with over 600+ miles easily climbing freaking mountains/grades as well (Nutz thread is a classic example). I always thought you had a ton of 35mph zones especially with in-between towns as I recall you posting way back? PS Everything else about this car is just stellar and way above the competition.
  5. LOL, I wonder if you are a Star Wars fan there :stirpot: What...me related to THE GEN....no way Jose...he won't have a bar of it and neither would I :hi5: Go and ask for Bill Parks. Hes the one that did mine and very experienced with our CMaxs
  6. Lol, hang around the la city golf course and u might spot mr. In Oxnard...Oxnard is there and a few others that I spotted easily...actually along the Los Angeles back route in the Camarillo/Spanish Hills area . They are there but NO way anywhere near the quantities of the Prii.
  7. Same bugging here by Sirius until I had to tell them to PO. Right now I don't miss anything ftom Sirius, the traffic was 50/50 right at best. Save myself some beer money.
  8. Similar shape, yeah gotta love the look. Hey, full time AC is gonna really whack your MPG, and you think its bad now. Not sure what you're doing wrong or what, but I don't see these crazy fluctuations as I know certain streets are just bad, bad, bad for the MPG no matter what.
  9. 134 more miles to go and 10.54 gallons used. This feels like a long, long marathon....whilst its fun, I am fatigued by the concentration just to keep up and maximize the FE. Oh can't go too much of a spurt here....thats 2 MPGs off from the Trip Computer. Damn those lights, never in sync. Did that moron just cut me off to a dead stop at the light? Man, this part of the road feels baby smooth...like a groove...and the classic one....WHY THE HELL DID THE RED LIGHT COME ON - theres no cars or pedestrian! :runaway: & Hey, next guy that tries this would probably do a similar journal. Enjoy the laughs ...cause I enjoyed the vent ;)
  10. I dunno, Matt, snitGTS and I get asked a ton of questions by the guys but hardly from the ladies. May be the ladies are better at putting into practice what we post up.... I got to get my V2.0 up and running after this tank, 134 more miles to the 800 barrier, 10.54 gallons used :shift:
  11. Hey Gen....yeah, I forgot about that...thanks for the reminder, not. Watcha waiting for the 3.5.1 and the liftgate is a cinch. I still have nothing to complain about...oil change in about 3,500 miles I guess but that ain't no complaint. Liftgate still works with 1 and only 1 kick. Bird still poop on my car after I just washed it this weekend....yeah, there you go. I finally found something to whinge about....
  12. 165!!! That is beyond sick and it gets better huh? What the HELL am I doing with a CMax then.... oh. oh, I lose the.. MFT. Liftgate. Space. Driveability. Upright seating Great visual of the road. Response. Rear Camera. The Ashton Martin grill....thats it for me, the grill is it. Can't have that, keeping the CMax then... ;)
  13. Wow, didn't realize that and where I work IS HOT in the afternoon. So I remember posting that using the AC actually helps to cool the cabin and also the battery as we know the vents to the batts are in the rear. True for the Energis?
  14. As it turns out, we didn't even have your 1st tank in Post #1 - so I updated it, you're our :happy feet: 25th :happy feet: 600+ MIle CMax Club member :) 5 more to the big 30!!!!! We could get more.... :superhero:
  15. Aha...hey Matt remember that post about that 800 milers claimed by Libby Massiah on Facebook, turns out shes got an Energi. I hate to think what you and I can do with an Energi friend...booyah
  16. I think that was Matt who removed his mirror...could be wrong. fotomoto...that is plain bizzare, sorry not much of a help other than make you smile ;)
  17. 700 is much tougher, requires little to no freeway and at least 90% surface street. Also if any one here has any questions about how to improve your FE driving, ask away. Sometimes these forums become like classroom and one feels intimidated because it sounds like a "dumb" question when it's not. Cmon Adair!!!!
  18. Think of it like Danica-no reason why the 600, 700 and 800 is not achievable. After all, the gas pedal doesn't care if whos stepping on it. Be alot of fun  Think Danica
  19. That's a good question and hard to answer as I drive in peak morning traffic but in the right and speed range +/-3 or 5 in the 35, 40 and 45 zones. That gets me say 70+ morning and 55 evening and 63 at lunch. Try this... Pulse up to 5 mph over, glide to speed limit and feather the minimum ev power to maintain the street speed. Tweak when u need to come off and recycle as needed.
  20. Wow..how fickle are the MPG, today was bad run in..71.7 when normally its 75 or 77. It was a wee colder at 63f and sprinkling but I thought my drive was pretty fe and my batts a wee bit higher than usual...hmmmh. 63.5 avg right now with 9.79 used...onward we march :dogwalk:

  22. Snowstorm....luv the idea but let's jus use this one. Ski and snowboards are nit exactly wikd so that rules me out for the time being. Doh.
  23. Adair...Please come and collect your Aliens
  24. Hey, welcome to the forum  Yeah, I for one was against the tint for my White Platinum but as it turns out,iit came with it and I totally :wub2: it . While CA is not as hot as FL, we get our share and this certainly helps. Also be sure to check out our Fuel Mileage section for some great driving tips.
  25. We need more female members....blackonblack is our only lady in the club :) Plus, I'll promise to give you the pink text membership. C-Maxgo Adair Rachel LizM Laurel ...any other female forum drivers, let me know. Lets do this! PS End goal for summer is at least 30, yes 30, 600 C-Max clubbers.
