We still have the original battery in our Cmax, 5 years old, with 52k miles on it.

I use Aerospace 303 for my Truck Bed Cover, expensive but provides excellent protection from the Sun! My Cover is still like new after 10 years in the Florida and Texas Sun. I get it at West Marine Boat supply stores. I also use it on the dash and never had any issues with cracking.

No snow, but ours has sat at the airport for a week or more at a time with no problems starting.

It is currently at $1.76 where we live. Enjoy it while it lasts! After Saudi Arabia drives the US Oil producers out of business, prices will skyrocket!!!

That's way too cold for me!!! We are still averaging 44 mpg on our 2014 but we live in Florida.

We recently took our first Road Trip in the C-Max. I pulled into a Rest Stop about 150 miles away from home. When I tried to back up, it felt like the Car died. It didn't but the Power Steering Check warning was on! From that point on we had NO power steering and it was on a Sunday so there were no dealerships open. We were on our way up to my Wife's Sisters house in the Florida Panhandle so I ended up driving the last 300 miles without Power steering!! The next day I dropped off the Car at Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach. Later on that day we were told that the Power Steering Rack needed to be replaced and they would have to order the part. We got the car back Wednesday morning and headed back to our house in Lake Wales. On the way back we detected something rattling underneath the car! On Thursday, New Years Eve we dropped the car off at Weikort Ford in Lake Wales. The Service guy at Weikort said it sounded like a wheel getting ready to come off! Turned out it was some bracket that was loose, probably as a result of the Rack replacement. Needless to say I am NOT happy with Ford right now!!! This car only has 17k miles on it!!!

I have never been a Ford guy either, but my Wife and Daughter are both driving C-Max's now. I will be driving my old Dodge Truck till the wheels fall off!

My daughter just bought a new 2015 C-MAX Sel. She could have saved some money by buying a used 2013, but I advised her not to, primarily because of all the battery Issues that seem to be inherent with the 2013 model.

Congrats! My daughter just bought a 2015 C-MAX SEL in Magnetic Metallic. ( Where do they get these names for colors? lol )

No problems with my Wife's 2014 SEL.

We had this option on our Suburban, wish I had it on my Truck! I once knocked over a garbage can with my Truck Mirror while going thru a Mc'D's drive thru lane.

I was recently in London and Paris but saw NO C-Max's over there! My Wife was looking for a hybrid and that's when I found out about the C-Max. I talked her out of buying a Prius!

Been awhile since I have been on here, but we have had our 2014 Cmax for almost 7 years now and it currently has about 62K miles on it. I experienced the lug nut issue trying to rotate the tires last year. Since then I have been taking it to our local Ford dealer for that job. Other than that, the only major issue was with the power steering which we had replaced under warranty.
We are still getting 44 mpg overall but on trips over 20 miles sometimes it will exceed 50 mpg. My wife still loves her Cmax but she now has her eyes on a new Mustang Mach-E!!
