  1. Sorry to hear about this John. Let us know what you learn please.
  2. Well that does sound like a big job indeed!
  3. What is the ACM? Likely something to do with air conditioning? Is it a big job? Poor little Jelly.
  4. Thinking of you and wishing you good luck!
  5. MacMahon you can check the dealer's inventories yourself http://content.dealerconnection.com/vfs/brands/ca_ford_en.html
  6. MacMahon supposedly there are three Energi's in Richmond, B.C. http://apps.dealerconnection.com/dealers/richportfordlincoln/new-inventory?lang=en#modelid=285&filters=All/All/All/All//10/BodyDesc/1/0&fps=true
  7. http://www.hybridcars.com/ford-recalling-c-max-hybrid-for-roof-defect/ Just saw this recall this morning while we were having breakfast on Vancouver Island. First the regular roof and now the panorama roof. We are hexed for sure. The date in the article should read January 2012 to June 2013. Even though this is put out by hybridcom, I am now not sure if they have their info. correct as other news sources are saying it is only the non panorama roof which we already knew about. Sorry for any confusion here.
  8. Ouch! Hope she does well mnrobitaille. Nice that the C-Max seats are as high as they are for her to get in and out.
  9. Thanks fotomoto! Looks like a very handy contraption. Is it difficult to take on and off?
  10. I guess I missed the installation of your thing on the back. Is that a wheel chair lift? Would it would work to haul two electric tricycles (100lbs. each)?

    I'm In...

Welcome to the forum--nice looking car.
  12. Yes, the whole route shows and then we choose the shortest, most eco friendly etc and then we lose the big overview.. It does look very neat to see the ferry route as well (two hours on the ferry to get to the spot on Vancouver Island where we are heading for). It will be interesting to see how accurate it is when we are on the Island. I am looking forward to the whale watching in Tofino. We are taking our wee dog Tinker and she has a dog sitter booked while we are at sea looking for whales. It sure takes coordinating to travel with a pooch in hot weather. But the internet is great as I found a nice gal who will take her home to play with her Whippet for the afternoon. Then after that leg of the journey we found cabins on the protected side of Vancouver Island with a warm beach and it is very dog friendly. Looking forward to hitting the road on Wednesday.
  13. Thanks! We usually get stuff from the States fairly quickly. Unless they decide it is something suspicious and then it disappears into the Bermuda Triangle <g>.
  14. I am like one of those old farts who doesn't want to give up his Jitterbug cell phone for an iphone. Our MFT 3.1.3 has been super. We are just planning a one week road trip over to Long Beach on Vancouver Island. I gave my hubby a list of things to program in for our trip such as locations to catch the ferry going over and back, whale watching tour locations, hotel in Tofino, different sights along route etc. etc. While I was in the grocery for 15 store minutes he completed my list without a glitch. I will be most reluctant to go in for the upgrade. It was very cool to look at our proposed route on the navigation screen seeing the road stop and the ferry route through the Gulf Islands etc.
  15. I hope you do name your Fiesta "Pickle" as it is a great name and all our neighbours would wander by and ask how Pickle was doing--great conversation starter to choose a name like Pickle. Even the service guys at Mercedes would smile when I took Pickle in and told them to give Pickle the top of the line treatment.
  16. Adair I won't tell my husband what you said as it really wanted the red with the light stone interior. He would say told you so if I read him what you wrote.
  17. Bruce prior to my C-Max, I had a Smart Car convertible that was a vivid green with black. Her name was Pickle and she turned heads and I got tons of compliments. I miss the compliments as Tip is a very quiet colour and no one notices her.
  18. I have Ice Storm, and I would say it is a chameleon like colour as it changes with the light. However, primarily it seems a very very pale blue. I have on occasion seen the green tones but that is rare. I am luke warm about the colour and my husband doesn't really like it as he wanted red. But one telling thing is that we have never received a compliment about our car's colour so I think it is perceived as very bland by most observers. Would I order it again? No probably not, but I am content enough with our colour as it is restful. I do like the light leather that we ordered it with as it is very classy looking in combo. It is all in the eyes of the beholder. I know when we picked it up the dealer had it in the showroom under the lights and it looked lovely. Not so much in everyday light.
  19. Populate? What do you mean? Glad it went smoothly this time.
  20. I got the giggles with your comment! I haven't had the nerve to go for the 3.5.1 upgrade yet so I won't line up for this one in a hurry either.
  21. Thanks Cassidy--interesting and good news.
  22. I did two clicks on paypal. One glove box invention needed not two. The second click is to pay for your labour and shipping. No hurry whenever you have time. My clicks are the ones from Surrey,BC.
  23. Good luck today mnrobitalille! Let us hear the end result please.
  24. Well Michigan Max I am glad it worked out in the end, but it sure reaffirms my decision to wait until our second servicing in October to get the upgrades. Not sure who they are going to practice on though since we are the only C-Max they have sold since we bought in November.LOL
