WNY replied to ArizonaEnergi's topic in Maintenance, TSB's & Recalls
FInally got the parts in and mine were done a couple weeks ago, they had it all day. not sure exactly how long it took, but at least it's done. updated GPS stuff, since map was off... again.... out of warranty as of 50K a week ago, so at least everything is up to date so far. LOL -
49,500 miles. i think original tires at 4/32 and 6/32 about due for new ones this summer. running 45-48psi Bought used Aug 2015 with 19K miles. so far avg. 37.5mpg, best tank was 47.5 on a long trip. :) very happy with it. Normal recalls done.

Recall Notice 16S30 - Side Door Latch Replacement
WNY replied to ArizonaEnergi's topic in Maintenance, TSB's & Recalls
I remember seeing this a while ago, asked the dealer, said parts weren't gonna be available till March. maybe they are finally getting them in. I'll have to check. -
Mine had the traffic for 6 months when I got the car used, it was pretty good. since we do a lot of traveling. tells you accidents, construction, etc....

MIne is A4 and we were driving thru the farmers fields on a trip according to the GSP, looks like all new roads. Probably updating it soon, since we do a lot of traveling, otherwise its been good. I hate using the little Garmen we have in the other vehicle, so used to mySync larger screen and split screens.

sorry.. :( i'll do better. LOL The hiway I drive on everyday about 16 miles one way to work, i can get 3-6miles on EV only depending, small hills and uphill on ramps both way to and from work, so that kills the mileage getting up to speed. :( thanks for the tips!

I'm at 43K and 2 are at the wears bars, the other 2 still have a ways to go, thinking they were replaced at one time, need to look at the date codes and compare. I'll need at least 2 for next year, have snow tires on it right now, so I can swap the 2 out over the winter. i'll keep on eye on them, prices i've seen around $175-195/ea.

I meant center and lower grille covers are both on. (lower just put back on today). I check on the upper grille too, never closed them off before. I think the ICE runs more since it's colder, i do let it heat up a bit, before leaving. since it sits outside and our weather has been all over the place, 60's, snow, ice, frost, 20's, now back up in the 40-50's this week.

Since it's been colder and seen some snow, I have the snow tires on, I did put Xice3 LRR Michelens. I do have top grille cover on, need to put the bottom one on. I have def. seen the MPG's go down probably 2-3mpg. but not too bad overall.

I used 215/55 R17 for my snow tires (approx 26.3" diam 767 rpm) , they were actually about $25-30/ea cheaper than the stock size or some of the other sizes listed above. stock is about 25.9" diam. it was close enough for me for the savings.

Wow. thats awesome. I have a couple different ways to and from work, highway averages about 38-41mpg, both uphill long on ramps. the other is more flat with small rolling hills, can usually get 42-47mpg, speeds are only 55 or so.
-
yup. just got mine too.

just make sure you have all the latest updates in the firmware of the car. I bought mine used (2013 SEL) and they did all the updates for the computers, etc....before i took it home and put a new battery in just in case, and been over 1 year (aug) with no problems or dead battery.

the antenna just screws back into the housing.

My ford dealer said parts might be available in 2nd quarter of 2017. really? hope the door doesn't break between now and then.
-
should have started it when they first came out to keep track of them. sounds cool. I;m in a few other registries for Mustangs too.

mines not peeling off the larger carpet section at all, do you haul a lot of stuff in and out of your cargo area? i put a rubber pad down cut to fit over my carpet to protect it. it was actually a textured rubber exercise or standing mat, wasn't too thick, seems to work good. lol :)

mine had the same problem they fell off shortly after I got the car last Aug, was still under the 3/36K warranty, they replaced the entire section on both seats. the plastic is too smooth for the glue to stick properly. sand it with like 40 or 60 grit and use some good silicone adhesive.
