  1. The local Ford dealer finally was able to order the 4g TCU for my 2014 Cmax Energi. They've had my car for three weeks and can't get it to work. They are telling me that Ford told them they need their software updated. The problem that they told me that the new or old TCU won't pass the self test so I guess it won't install the software. Ford has been telling them to wait for the update and the dealer has told me they have the Field service engineer involved now. Does this make any sense to anyone? Meanwhile, I'm driving a loaner and they have my car apart.

  3. Does Ford Pass work with the sync 2 … which would be on most 2014 cars?
  4. I have a ‘14 C-max Energi and test drove a TESLA Model Y last week... It was a very good dealer experience. At a 325 mile range, a mid 40’s sticker price, and being 100% solar at my home, I think the Model Y is my next (and last) vehicle purchase.....
  5. Thanks Plus 3 Golfer, so where are the SOBDM cooling fan inlet and outlet ducts located? Is there a filter involved?
  6. I have a 2014 C Max Energi. My check engine light came on and when I plugged my computer into it shows a P0D24 code under the Generic Powertrain heading and the Batter Energy control module. The description is Undocumented trouble code description. I have also been getting texts about charging faults but the batter does charge. I clear it and the light ones out......any ideas on what is going on???
