  1. All - I removed mine. It is just a piece of plastic attached to the floor. I sliced the carpet so the folding parts would overlap each other, then put a thick plastic mat over it. I am attempting to attach pics. Eddie
  2. I live in the town where Crutchfield is located. I took my cmax to their trained installer. He flat out said no. Don't bother upgrading as it would be a costly nightmare.
  3. I really am only interested in the quietest tire for my 2017 Cmax. I have some junk Kelly's that the dealer put on there when he was trying to sell it. Since I don't want to take out a second mortgage to afford, any suggestions on affordable quiet tires? Not interested in super long thread life, whether they drive in the snow, just quiet. Thanks! Eddie
  4. I'll have to vote NO on seat comfort. I have a 2017 Ford Cmax SE. Leather seats, power on both sides, adjustable lumbar both sides. 15-45 minute drives are ok, anything longer than that, and you will cripple yourself. The area where the lumbar balloon is located - I'm going to say about 2-3 inches up from crevice of the bottom and top cushions is hard as a rock. Just digs into your lower back. I thought this was going to be a car I could live with for a while, but between it being extremely noisy and the bad seats, I'm going to have to sell at a loss and get something that I can ride in for more than a few minutes.
  5. What is the original tire for a 2017 Cmax Energi? I bought this one used, and there was no tire information in the glove compartment. It has a set of Kelly tires on there now - I doubt there were the original tires. Thanks for your help.
