  1. There aren't a lot of Energi's in stock right now around here. Most of those available seem to be less-desirable configurations. I think that many were bought when Texas announced their rebates a few months ago. Coupled with the 2015 year changeover...... Well, ya gotta hav'em to sell'em!
  2. I hope I'm not too late. I bought a 2014 C-Max Energi Plu-in about 3 months ago. I got a $3000 discount off of MSRP. I then got $3000 in Ford Rebates. Add to that $4007 tax credit. That all peals about $10,000 off the sticker price. However, I'm in Texas and got another State rebate of $2500. I hope this helps! (Oh Yeah, also got a good trade-in on my 2013 C-Max to finish the deal).
  3. $33,500 was the price before the Ford rebate. It was about $3,000 off of the $36,500 window sticker.
  4. drdiesel1: Yes $4000 in your pocket, but you don't get it until after you file your Federal return next year.
  5. Stevedebi: I traded early in August. Here is the "rounded" deal: CMAX Energi Window Sticker: $36500 Sold Price: $ 33,500 (3K Discount) Ford Rebate: $3000 Trade In: $19000 Taxes and Fees +$1000 Amt Paid to Dealer $12,500 Less Texas Rebate $ 2,500 Less Fed Tax Cred $ 4,000 Total "Trade Up" Cost $6500 Did I do good? Whatdayathink??
  6. I traded in my 13 SEL with about 30K miles for $19,000. I'm pretty sure that was the "real" trade-in value here in TX, as I also got a hefty discount on the new Energi that I purchased. In other words they didn't pad up the trade-in and sell me the new one at retail.
  7. I just "traded up" for a White 2014 Energi. No problems with the ones on my old C-Max. The new ones are a perfect match.
  8. Hey Laurel: Glad to hear that you are still here and it is good to be back! What happened to our friend from Louisiana??
  9. I started the "Order to Delivery Time" thread long ago, I've now traded in my C-Max. Let's see if we can get any good trade-in data. Caution: Sometimes a dealer will raise or lower the trade-in while proportionately lowering or raising the price of the new car to cover. This will happen if the customer is really hung up on getting a high trade-in or new car discount. It may also be interesting to see what car people buy after their C-Max. (If we get any good data, this thread might be worth pinning) I will get it started: Year: 2013 Model: C-Max Hybrid SEL Length of Time Owned: 1 Year 8 Months Mileage: 28,000 Trade-In Value: $19,000 US Trade-In or Private Sale: Trade-In Replacement Car Purchased: 2014 C-Max Energi SEL
  10. I was one of the early members of this Board and a fairly early owner of a 2013 C-Max Hybrid SEL. I've been away from the Board for quite a while. I was really excited that we were going to get a factory tour, and then that whole thing collapsed. I was really disappointed and I guess that I didn't have much to say for a while. I've enjoyed the car, despite the slightly lower than expected MPG. Over the weekend I stopped by a car dealer. Welllllll you can guess what happened. I looked at a new car, the dealer worked her (yes her) magic, offered me a fairly good deal on my trade-in and a lot of discounts on the new one...... Yes, I sold my 2013 C-Max Hybrid. I'm now the proud owner of a 2014 C-Max SEL Energi! I'm Back!!!!
  11. Seems that several have had strange radio problems in the past week. See the post under the "Battery" topic.
  12. Car taken in today for multiple upgrades. Should have it back in a few days.
  13. Very, very strange. I had exactly the same problem. I lost my car audio on Thursday. Friday I made an appointment to take it in today (Monday). On Sunday I tried to start the car and it was DRT (Dead Right There). I put it on the charger and brought it back to life. I am taking it in today. I wonder if it is a coincidence or some strange loop with an update.
  14. I've been clicking along with about 42 MPG. My C-Max mileage has been increasing since I got the car. However, I live in Austin, TX and haven't had much really cold or hot weather. Welllll...... Summer is here. I've noticed that my MPG is down about 4MPG from a couple of months ago over the last 2 tanks. So what's the cause? I can attribute this to a few 80 MPH trips to the Airport (yes, that is the speed limit). There is less traffic on the road going to work since School (UT) is out. Thus, my inbound commute is less hybrid-friendly.Now that I have had the car for 6 Months, I've been giving my hybrid skills a bit less attention. I could possibly save with a bit more "pulse and glide."The A/C has been running full blast. The good news is that It had plenty of power to cool the car within a few minutes on a 108 degree day. The bad news is that I think this is the prime culprit on my MPG decrease. I suspect that the A/C is the prime culprit, but all are contributors. Others.... What is you MPG experience with the summer heat??
