  1. My 2013 manual says Change engine coolant and motor/electronics coolant... Initial replacement at six years or 100000 miles (160000 kilometers), then every three years or 50000 miles (80000 kilometers).
  2. Just noticed that 2021 Escape Hybrid Plug-in now back in Ford.com
  3. In our worst snow (11") our C-max couldn't even move off our driveway. How does the Escape compare to C-max in turning radius?
  4. I've read there is also some 2020 Escape hybrids with an unresolved engine rattle.
  5. You got a good price, I looked at Costco website and it was $41.99 for box of 6 or $6.99/qt
  6. Changed mine yesterday. Been one year. Looked at the oil it was dirty but not as bad as usual. Walmart: Mobile One 0-20 synthetic 5 qt $21, Motorcraft filter $4
  7. What does it do if you go on an extended downgrade? Does it ever fully charge? My 2013 SEL Hybrid fully charges.
  8. My 2013 SEL Transmission is still working ok at 60k miles but I am getting nervous as the warranty runs out next month. I think there has been a half dozen failures on this forum. Do a search.
  9. Went to costco today to get one of my tires repaired. He said the TPMS sensors have 7 year battery life and quoted me $60 each to replace sensors. Can't change batteries. No failures yet. My car is 8 yrs old. Anyone have theirs fail?
  10. We have 2013 SEL with leather seats, only driver seat has power. We like the comfort of the seats and when we first bought it took multiple 4 hr trips and they were fine. What trim level is your car to get power passenger seat?
  11. You can turn off the car with the radio on and time the amount of time until the radio shuts down. If it’s about 10 minutes then success.
  12. This site has more activity than the blue oval escape/kuga site.
  13. Sounds like a good deal. Is it a hybrid or Energi model? I have been thinking about a similar car but not many 2018's around here.
  14. Luckily there is a button on the top right side of the page called "√ Mark site read" that will clear all the spam quickly! Just scan through first to make sure there isn't any "REAL" entries you want to read.
  15. Try pulling fuse 79 under the glove box, that will reset the sound system.
  16. Delay for Escape PHEV production until April 6th.(1 day)
  17. What year is your C-max? Transmission leak & noise are the symptoms.
  18. We had a leak from the ceiling on the passenger side from the hose that feeds the rear window washer. The hose connection has pulled apart in the ceiling.
  19. Metroman your first post reminded me of reading this yesterday. Don't know if it's true and it's a little hard to read but this was the part I was talking about. Another Ford problem that is becoming more and more widespread is the refusal to recognize warranty issues. There are quite a few neat tricks that Ford uses... like telling the consumer that there is no problem until the product is no longer under warranty , telling the consumer that a part is on backorder until the product is no longer covered. Believe me they do it for all their Brands, from Ford to Land-Rover. Actually, the folks running the sales business get praise for doing this, because it makes their products look better in JD Power Quality surveys and because it reduces the warranty repair expenses by huge sums of money.
  20. Don't replace the battery pack. Try to get it repaired.
  21. Saw a 2013 Sel for sale on Craigslist for about $3500 with a bad transmission. Car had 115k miles and was still drivable.
