Emailed my Ford dealer a couple days ago about Escape Plug-in delivery schedule. He said... Can't even order yet, May be a 2021. I'll recontact you in 30 days, more information by then??

Ford seems to have trouble making reliable transmissions lately. (explorer,focus) Is the 2020 escape hybrid tranmission a new design?

I have 2013 C-max Hybrid with 58k miles manufactured in feb 2013. So far no problems. I drive 80% city & 20% highway@ about 60mph. What percent of 2013's have had their transmission go bad? My powertrain warranty runs out in april next year and have been wondering if I should replace the car before then. Otherwise I would just keep it since it has been reliable. What are you other owners doing?

Mine only starts the ICE if the outdoor temps are below 40 degrees. I always turn off the heater and go easy on the accelerator.

Was curious about escape hybrid mpg so looked to see what was available on fuelly.

Yeah Ford really dropped the ball with Sync 2.

Plus 3 is right , these don't need a lot of work. The only tools I have needed were for changing engine air filter and the oil pan bolt (15mm). Also you will need a torx bit to remove the large fiber shield to change the oil. All of those are done at home. The only tool I carry with the car is an ice scraper. : )

No the Ford site stopped letting you download the releases so I downloaded it from someone on the internet. Here is the thread where I updated to 3.10.

My 2013 Hybrid build date Feb 2013 works with 3.10. I installed it myself. (takes a while to install). Difference might be I installed starting from 3.8 not 3.6. I think the main changes from 3.6 on were for phone updates. Read the release notes from each release and see if you think you would benefit with upgrading.

Don't know about Energi cars but for Hybrids after they shut down the sync 2 software updates and the car self-test the Ford site offers little for sync 2 users. I don't go to the web site or use the app any more.

So when did Ford start putting in all the Carplay usb hub on new cars?

You definitely got your moneys worth out of your c-max. Did you order an escape plug-in?

My 2013 SEL Hybrid has had these problems since new. Wiring under driver seat connector affected seat heater. Passenger seat heater not working. Carpet pulled up in back of car, they re-glued it. half-dozen recalls were done 3 sync updates auto unlock on driver door is currently only working 50% of time 57k miles on car still getting 45mpg lifetime Changed to solid lug nuts even though the original ones were still ok. Just replaced tires with OEM ES at Costco for $742, Costco put in only 35psi of nitrogen because they said that is what Ford specs for C-max even though the door sticker says 38. I had them up it to 40psi.

I think it cools the battery compartment if needed even if you are not running the ac on the dash.

Checked on that Rav4 Prime plugin will use Li-ion batteries with 39mi ev range. Also the batteries will be cooled by the car AC.

I agree the Rav4 plugin is ugly, at least on the front end. What were they thinking? But the spec's on the car look pretty good however.

I did see that the Rav4 plugin will have 10year 150k warranty on the batteries.
