  1. $5000 is a good price especially if it has had the transmission replaced.
  2. Don't know about Energi cars but for Hybrids after they shut down the sync 2 software updates and the car self-test the Ford site offers little for sync 2 users. I don't go to the web site or use the app any more.
  3. So when did Ford start putting in all the Carplay usb hub on new cars?
  4. You definitely got your moneys worth out of your c-max. Did you order an escape plug-in?
  5. Yes, here it is below. They must have changed it
  6. My 2013 SEL Hybrid has had these problems since new. Wiring under driver seat connector affected seat heater. Passenger seat heater not working. Carpet pulled up in back of car, they re-glued it. half-dozen recalls were done 3 sync updates auto unlock on driver door is currently only working 50% of time 57k miles on car still getting 45mpg lifetime Changed to solid lug nuts even though the original ones were still ok. Just replaced tires with OEM ES at Costco for $742, Costco put in only 35psi of nitrogen because they said that is what Ford specs for C-max even though the door sticker says 38. I had them up it to 40psi.
  7. Frank how close did the lie-o-meter match actual gallons/miles?
  8. I think it cools the battery compartment if needed even if you are not running the ac on the dash.
  9. Checked on that Rav4 Prime plugin will use Li-ion batteries with 39mi ev range. Also the batteries will be cooled by the car AC.
  10. I agree the Rav4 plugin is ugly, at least on the front end. What were they thinking? But the spec's on the car look pretty good however.
  11. I did see that the Rav4 plugin will have 10year 150k warranty on the batteries.
  12. What the advantages of Ford Escape Plug-in vs Rav4 Plug-in?
  13. I have a Hybrid but what can Energi owners do to help mitigate the HVB degradation during their daily charging/commutes?
  14. Looks great. Looks blue to me too, but I'm also red-green color-blind.
  15. You are still stuck with Sync 2 even though you are at 3.10 version. To get Sync 3 capability you need to get 2016 or later car. You can use Siri eyes free however.
  16. I use the seat heaters until the engine warms up which helps it go into ev sooner. Usually takes about 3 miles, then I turn on the regular heater. My current tank avg. is about 44.7 mpg using the readout.
  17. Here is a similar car at the dealer where I bought my c-max in 2013. The MSRP is $38645 and for sale price is $35148 https://www.courtesyford.com/new-Portland-2020-Ford-Escape-Titanium+Hybrid-1FMCU9DZ2LUB06778
  18. Found this below on Ford Edge forum... BTW-Here is the Ford specs sheet on SYNC2 v3.10 EA5T-14D544-BA ABOUT THE LATEST UPDATE The new software update for SYNC® with MyFord Touch® systems includes all the improvements from previous updates, plus additional changes to accommodate new and updated customer devices, such as: Hazard switch illuminates on Focus / Escape with ignition off and park lamps on Next Track / Previous Track controls from SYNC touchscreen SYNC Maintaining Repeat / Shuffle settings that were set on the device side Compatibility updates for the latest phone and media devices The installation of this update will take up to 30 minutes to complete. Be sure to keep your engine running (not in accessory mode) throughout the entire installation process. Turning off your vehicle during the update installation will disrupt the process. Although your vehicle must be in park when you begin the installation process, you may drive your vehicle while the update is downloading to your SYNC® system. If your vehicle is equipped with the Intelligent Access with Push Button Start feature, you will need to temporarily disable the Automatic Engine Idle Shutdown (AEIS) component before beginning the installation in order to prevent your vehicle from timing out and shutting off the engine before the software update is complete. To disable this feature, use your steering wheel controls to navigate to the Settings menu on your left-hand Instrument Cluster LCD display. From there, select Vehicle >Auto Engine Off >Off. (If you do not see this setting, there is no need to make any changes before starting the update.) Alternatively, after initiating the installation, you may drive the vehicle during the update process to avoid shutting off the engine. The next time you start your vehicle, the AEIS will automatically reset to "On." Please note: During the update installation, SYNC® will temporarily appear to not recognize your mobile phone or media device. This is normal. Once your system has been successfully updated, SYNC® will display a notification stating "Installation complete."
  19. I found a copy of latest Sync 2 (v3.10) release out on the internet and installed it a couple years ago. It works fine on my 2013 Hybrid. 3.10 looked to be a patched version of 3.08 , saw that while it was installing. Someone on the Fusion forum had posted a link where to find it. 3.10 removed the car self test function that was built into the menu's. At the time Ford dealers were charging to have 3.10 installed. You used to be able to download the latest version from the Ford website but they stopped doing that with version 3.08.
  20. My driver door is the opposite, it only unlocks the door half of the time on the first try.
