When you get home pull into the garage and drive the front wheels onto a electric powered dyno, turn the dyno on to spin the front wheels and press the brake until the battery is charged. :)

Anyone know why the ford.com site specifies p225/55r17 for the c-max tires but c-max have p225/50r17 installed? Did they change to a different tire at some point?

I feel sorry for the poor dummy that had to drive the car.

Is the lifetime screen updated with the results of the last drive cycle at the end of the drive or at the beginning of the next drive?

Like my new c-max a lot but ... I would also like the gearshift lighting. Fix voice recognition so it works. Allow faster acceleration in EV mode. Lumbar support adjustment in passenger seat. I have the std stereo for SEL and the volume control is too sensitive to fine tune the volume. Lower the battery pack or move it so that the floor in the back is not raised.

I noticed a section in the settings display for wireless connections, so I input my wireless password and sure enough it was able to connect to my fios router. So what does the wireless capability do for you? When I ran diagnostics and uploaded it I think it used my phone rather than the internet.

Got my new insurance bill today from allstate our 02 Explorer was $266 for 6/mo our 13 C-Max is $221 for 6/mo The biggest difference in the details was in liability, 165 for explorer but only 70 for C-Max.

Salesmen told me when you open the door with the mechanical key and you don't have the fob or the battery is dead in the fob to immediately press the unlock button on the door and the alarm will not go off. Haven't tried though.

Ok what is your car mileage averaging now? I'll assume you and your car are both broke in. :)

Hello to the forum. Just bought a new Red C-Max SEL hybrid. Only 300 miles on it now. Ran the diagnostics at 200 miles and it gave an airbag indicator light that was always on. Took it to my local ford dealer and they found the wiring connector under the seat had pin pulled out. Car really drives nice, had ford explorer previously. Currently getting 41MPG in our driving in town and out in the country. Cheers Homestead
