  1. The Detroit News, posted 12:18am October 7, 2016 "Infotainment system flaws riled top Ford execs" A U.S. District Court judge last week certified classes of consumers from nine states in the 2013 lawsuit filed against the Dearborn automaker; a trial is expected in April 2017. The article includes statements attributed to Ford executives, engineers, and unnamed employees about early MyFord Touch and SYNC woes from court filings. Rather than cut-and-paste what to me appears to be a collection of juicy gossip worthy of a 2016 Presidential campaign leak, I'll let you read it yourself... 2. I drive a 2013 C-MAX Hybrid SEL with MFT / SYNC2 - v3.8. I recently noticed a problem related to selecting nearby POIs using the steering wheel controls. Specifically, when selecting POI categories on the dash, the list displayed is the same list of categories, and not a list of POI destinations. For example, when I select Fuel Stations, I get a brief "please wait" message and the display flips back to the category list. I never see the list of nearby fuel stations. This issue does not occur when using the MFT touch screen. According to (http://outofmytouch.com), this bug has been around as far back as September, 2013, almost THREE years ago from today. Is Ford currently supporting MFT and SYNC2? Will Ford support MFT & SYNC2 in the future? How do owners of MFT / SYNC2 vehicles get fixes to known and documented hardware and/or software issues?
  3. I located a series of Sync tutorials on the Ford support website. Here's something I'm eager to try out: How to set up Audible audiobooks for use with SYNC. Full Tutorial: http://support.ford.com/sync-technology/audible-audiobooks-how-to-sync-myford-touch Play some of your favorite audiobooks in your vehicle using Audible and SYNC® with MyFord Touch®. Please note that this process requires a computer running Windows®.
