  1. My Ford C-Max Hybrid Energi has a dead battery, I tried to charge it and replace it but display is dead, key will not work, doors cannot be locked and I cant get it into neutral to tow it to dealer. is there a mechancical override to get the transmission into neutral to tow it? not sure why it died, it is on an incline with front higher than rear, I think I left the motor on for 2 hours and drained it . what do I do?
  2. I thought my 2014 C-Max was the greatest car in the world until the second dead battery in the morning. I took it in to the dealer after the first time, and supposedly it was fixed, but yesterday morning it was dead again. This time after the AAA recharge the clock won't re-set. What is the cause of this problem? What needs to be done to fix it permanently? What do I need to ask the dealer to do?

  4. Hi, I wanted to throw out a question regarding jumping my CMAX with jumpers cables. First off I haven't needed to do this as my battery seems to work faithfully with 6500 miles on the car and I would hope for much more than that. I was wondering when you connect jumper cables to the charging terminals which are located under the hood. Is it going to start the gas engine and I would assume so since that would be the only way to get the car moving. I assume the engine would remain running until there was sufficent power in the Li-Ion batteries to run without the gas engine? Just wondered since this gas/battery technology is all new to me.
