mojo
I have a 2015 C-MAX Hybrid nearing the end of its 8-year 125,000 mile extended warranty. I'd like to advise my dealer on specific components to take a hard look at, as this may be the last time it goes to a dealer for warranty servicing. Apart from being annoyed by SYNC 2, the C-MAX been relatively good to me thus far. But, I have this vision that at 125,001 miles, it falls apart like the Blues Brothers Bluesmobile. I'd like to make sure that everything that makes sense to cover under warranty gets checked out. If something is even slightly marginal, or the expected MTBF is close, fix it. Normally, I'd be eyeballing my next car about now, but with the funky economy supply chain madness, I'd like to keep my C-MAX going awhile. Has anyone done this before? Any guidance to share? homestead
Just take it in to your local Ford dealer, get the oil changed or ask for a vehicle inspection. They will look for anything that might generate sales for them.
