Falcon1772 Posted November 15, 2022 Report Share Posted November 15, 2022 (edited) 2014 C-max SEL Hybrid. Went to drive to my birthday dinner tonight. Tried to start the car, and it sorta started but was shaking real bad like a misfire. hybrid battery was very low. Not sure how it got low since it was driven 100% perfectly fine yesterday. Tried restarting it about 10 times, it'll "start" but shakes a lot and will shut off saying Stop Safely Now with a red triangle. No check engine light or anything, just a car that won't start or go into gear (I can move the shifter but it will not move the car). Hybrid battery is currently about 1 pixel line of charge on the indicator. What do I do? I have the 12v on charge, despite it seeming to be charged enough to run the lights, lift gate, dash etc. Had this exact same thing happen earlier this summer but after a couple retries at starting it, it worked as normal, wrote it off as a one off situation.
