aschofer
Nav GPS TSB 13-3-11 - Fix for unable to locate vehicle, etc There is a Technical Service Bulletin that came out today for those of us whose Nav systems are having a hard time tracking where the vehicle is. Typically your car is shown as off the road or on the next block over, etc. This fix applies to cars built on 1/15/2013 and before. It involves a recalibration, apparently. Thanks to use ceemax71 for finding this
aschofer
Today the dealer installed the new software patch to fix the Navigation System. Took less than one hour. So far the navigation system is working fine.

aschofer
Honestly, I don't know. Check with the dealer.
rtshinn
This fix did nothing for me. They couldn't even install it for some reason.
joe
rtshinn. Check the sticker on the inside frame of the drivers door to determine the date your car was built. Being an Energi, it might have been built after the 1/15/13 cutoff date for the TSB.
joe
UPDATE: Dealer ordered a new GPSM (Global Position System Module) and installed it today.GPS WORKS - YIPEE - my C-Max is now perfect. We drove around and it stays on track. No wandering around in the bushes or off road. Here is what the work order says:"Copied the info from the old GPSM on to the IDS. Removed the ICP & removed the GPMS. Installed the new GPMS. Reinstalled the IPC. Downloaded the info back into the new GPSM."
