dalebunker
I have a bit of a delima and wondering if anyone has actual experience dealing with factory rebate offers. Ford recently updated the Factory Cash back (on retail purchases) to $1250. However, this offer expires April 1st. My car is supposed to be ready April 1st. My concern is if the car is delayed even a day, will the factory still honor the rebate, or, what is the potential of a better rebate after April 1st? I realize Ford does this to stimulate sales and move stuff off the lots, hence the disclaimer --take delivery from dealer stock by this date. But has anyone one experienced and leeway in these offers, and or a way to know what will happen after April 1st? Just curious.... Getting more anxious to MADCMAX to arrive!! BigRed
Where do you see this rebate? aka: I want to go into the dealership and get them to give it to me, lol.
dalebunker
http://www.ford.com/incentives/ Select the Year, the Vehicle then your Zip code. There are various categories. In my case, I'm looking at the "Retail Offers" tab I do know rebates will vary by region. Edited March 26, 2013 by dalebunker
rtshinn
It may be ok if you ordered before, unless it says you have to take delivery by then
BigRed
Yeah all I have is the standard $750 cash back one.
lowbar
I requested a C-MAX brochure from the ford.com website. I got it in about 2 weeks. On the inside back cover was a $750 rebate coupon that tacks on to the standard $750 rebate. ScubaDadMiami
Adair
It seems that someone on the forum had this issue a couple of months back and resolved it with the dealership beforehand. When I ordered mine my salesman said that by ordering I would qualify for *at least* the discount in effect at the time of the order, *or* higher, if Ford upped the discount before I took ownership. I would call your salesman and see if you can get something in writing that says you will get the rebate because you ordered the car in good faith before the deadline.
