maryinred
I finally sold my beloved 2013 Cmax Energi. We have had it since it was brand new. It has served us well all these years. We finally got the final recall scheduled and done. We had been talking about replacing this great car for a little while. We decided that we liked the plug in hybrid so much that we wanted another one. When we started looking the only one that looked promising was a Escape plug in hybrid. Low and behold we found one at our local Ford dealer on the lot!!! We had moved to a different state in November and are still getting settled into our new house. But, this was just too much of a coincidence. I think it was meant to be like so many other things that had happened in our lives lately. So we purchased the Escape and put our Cmax on the market and within days had people wanting to come and look at it. A couple that had just started RVing was interested because this car was already outfitted with a complete tow behind package installed on it. It would come with the tow bar and all the accessories associated with it. It only had 30,000 miles on it. I had kept seat covers on all the seats since new since I was not really fond of leather too much. It also had weathertech mats front and back, a dash mat and a custom made sun shield. I had all the service records from beginning to end too. Even an owner's manual. I took great care of this car and it was hard to let go of it but I felt it was time. Now to make new memories in the Escape......
Adrian_L
Great post. We bought a 2013 Hybrid. The lack of trunk space in the Energi was a deal-breaker for my wife. But we also didn't have the extra money at the time. I know the trunk has expanded somewhat in later model years. Our Cmax has never let us down. Great reliability, apart from an injector failure around 120,000 km., which I fixed myself. I would buy another Ford in a heartbeat.
