C-MaxA2 Posted August 3, 2023 Report Share Posted August 3, 2023 I don't know. The rule I've always followed was that vehicles manufactured on or after Aug. 15th 2015 had the 'fixed' transmission. grege Posted August 6, 2023 Report Share Posted August 6, 2023 Our 2018 c max exhibited those issues (growling noises) and was replaced at 36,000 miles so I'm not convinced it's only the 2015 and earlier ones afflicted (especially since our replacement transmission now also growls after only 18,000 miles of use).
