pomtrey Posted September 7, 2013 Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 had this done at the dealer yesterday--Manhattan Ford in NYC. they did indeed have some trouble tnstalling, but they prevailed. it seems to have alleviated the problem. brought it to them because sync stopped using the phonebook and would just dial "dot com". didn't believe there would be a fix but thought I'd give it a shot. I can again make a call using the paddle. yay! it does, however, seem slow to respond. but for those basic sync users with issues, I'd recommend showing this to yr dealer. our dealer knew nothing of it before they dealt with my problem.
