JnDRader
We picked up a 2013 Tuxedo Black C-MAX SE last night. Pretty excited about it. Our 2005 Honda Odyssey has 200k miles on it and only got around 16-17mpg city so we wanted to get my wife something that got better mileage and save the Odyssey for trips where we take more than 4 people. She was all set on the Lexus ES300h but decided that the cost was just too much. We then started searching for less expensive options and looked at the standard Focus, the C-MAX, the Prius line, and the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. We ended up picking the C-MAX as we're very comfortable with Ford vehicles and it fit our family perfectly. It larger than my 2012 Fiesta so family trips should be more comfortable. I don't care for the Prius styling and the Sonata Hybrid just didn't feel right. My wife didn't care for the Focus so C-MAX it was. Looking forward to getting some trips on it and see how it does. It's significantly larger in the passenger compartment than the Fiesta so the kids love it. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up some good tips on it from the forum! fotomoto
We picked up a 2013 Tuxedo Black C-MAX SE last night. WOW, ya'll must be pretty strong as the CMax is not light! <rimshot> Seriously, congrats on your new purchase. We, too, had a van (quest) when the kids were younger and also got about the same mileage (wife got 16.5 and I got 18). LizM

Ponypower
Congradulations on your new C-Max, ordered a 2014 a month ago. You made a very very wise choice with the C-MAX. I have a 2012 Ford Focus and the transmission is a nightmare, can't wait to trade it in. Will loose over $10,000 in two years.
