fotomoto
Hee-hee-hee, I recognize that Pri-baru. It's a creation by Autobeyours an independent shop that specializes in bringing wrecked Pri back to life. http://www.autobeyours.com/ It's been finished and looks a lot better painted: http://www.autobeyours.com/06%20Baja%20Prius.htm I'm really interested in their hybrid powered boat. :shift: Now that's thinking outside the box!http://www.autobeyours.com/1996%20Silverton%20312.htm obob
Adrian_L
There was a guy putting a Tesla inside a Vanagon (or rather in two Vanagons welded together). I think he ran into a few hurdles but if you're interested check out: http://cafeelectric.com/stretchla/ Viva los excéntricos......

kostby
The car in the OP's picture is not the same one in your link. It is another AutoBeYours um, "reanimation" (in the sense of Frankenstein, IMO). The first photo in this thread is actually the second creation, Pruck 2, and more photos of it are on this page: http://www.autobeyours.com/09%20Pruck%202.htm They have a salvage 2012 Focus Electric, so we might see some, uh, 'reanimated' Fords there some day. And there really IS a Subaru/Toyota partnership of sorts. The Subaru Indiana Automotive plant in Lafayette IN produces both the Toyota Camry (since 2006) and the Subaru Legacy and Outback. No electrics or hybrids yet. Toyota is discontinuing Camry production there with in the fall of 2016, and Subaru is expanding again.
