marshtex2
My 2013 SE Hybrid was the basic model, about as low a MSRP as we can get, the only extra was white platinum paint, almost $500 extra. While at the dealer for 20,000 mile service I looked at what was available that would provide the big central view screen that included GPS. First noticed was a SEL model. Then the salesman checked their inventory and found a 2015 SE that had the big central view screen (part of Group 203A, $2,235), was oxford white (just plain white, no $ extra). had a keyless entry keypad on the driver's door ($95), This would get me the fabric seats that I prefer and the MSRP was about $3,000 less than the similar SEL model that had white platinum paint. With about 200 miles on this new 2015 C-Max SE Hybrid, I'm finding it very OK. The 203A group provides a power hatch back, back-up proximity beepers, daytime running lights, a big central view screen and a display on the right of the speedometer that provides several options. The information display on the left of the speedometer is about like was on my basic 2013 model: a resettable trip 1, trip 2 and other options. The keyless entry pad on the driver's door means I won't get locked out, just key in the entry code. Many things about the 2015 model seem a little snappier than the 2013. I can set up both the right and large central viewing screens so that good graphics show up on electric and ICE running and MPG at instantaneous, near term and re-settable long term time frames. I'll likely not have to find a place to mount the little Scangauge numerical display. ** Already need help, Rebecca, I go to http://www.etis.ford.com/, key in the VIN (triple checked for accuracy) 1FADP5AU3FL102479 and the wrong car comes up, a 2014 C-Max Energi. Mine is clearly not an Energi and was sold to me as a 2015 model. I am wondering, for the 2015 models have we heard of any of the 12 V battery problems as came with the earlier models? I think you are talking about the right display on the dashboard? I wish I could show more on mine. It is either what is on the MFT system already or the leaf display. I would love to have the programming options from the left side.
Ephethean3
My 2015 also shows as a 2014 Energi on the ETIS page as well. The options appear right though.
marshtex2
The 2014 C-MaX Energy that comes up in Etis with my VIN does not show the same options as my 2015 C-Max SE. Where can we get all that car-build info like come up on Etis?
marshtex2
Hi Scottwood2 When I mention right display, I mean the display that is immediately to the right of the speedometer. After surfing through the owner's manual, I got that display's options to come forward by working with the steering wheel's right-side OK button system. When I refer to the bigger display that is just under the CD slot in the center of the dashboard I have called it the large central viewing screen and its options come up by use of the touch screen. I do not know if anything changed with the displays for the 2015 model but it looks like all this is linked to the Group 203A package. Thx, So the right display has more items that can be displayed compared to your 2013? Just want to be sure that there is not something that I am missing. I have the 202A package which has the 8" MFT. Maybe there is still something added for the right display on the 203A? I don't remember there being any changes that I saw but there could be. Yes, my 2013 had only leaves or a compass on the screen to the right of the speedometer and the little central display was not a touch screen at all. My 2015 MFT screen is 7" wide. marshtex2
http://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Number-Lookup/WindowSticker/Ford.htmlThe Etis gives what looks like the whole build details for the car. The info on the window sticker is trivial in comparison and I have that sticker from the window, don't need to use the link to see it. MichaelM
ETIS is a European site and while it's connected so it can look up VIN numbers their database doesn't correlate some codes correctly.
