MikeB Posted December 14, 2012 Report Share Posted December 14, 2012 Something seems wrong about that analysis: the Energi can go up to 85mph on its electric motor, but it only rated 41mpg once it drains the battery enough that it enters normal hybrid mode. I'll know for sure in another week or so, but I bet the Energi won't be much better than the Hybrid in real-world highway driving, despite the higher EV speed threshold.
