callahansolo
I am having an issues with a clogged ac drain line, where water is pooling on my passenger floor. I have already been to 2 mechanic shops, but they can not seem to locate the drain line underneath my car. it is a Ford C-max Hybrid 2014 model. Does anyone know where the drain line is? I would take it to the dealership, but they told me it will be $112 just for them to look at it (not fix it, just to look at it), and I would prefer not to spend that if I do not need to since the only issue is figuring out where the drain line is actually located under the car. bigqueue
olidx
This Ford tech says that it is generally placed off the firewall (so it may not be visible directly from underneath the case, it might not be easy to spot in the tight engine bay in the CMax Perhaps some other members might have experience with cleaning the drain hose and give more details. plus 3 golfer
I seem to recall reading that you may have to remove a heat shield to get to it from underneath the car. Here’s the parts diagram (green item). I don’t believe it is on the firewall. Edited February 10, 2020 by Plus 3 Golfer
