Buggs1a Posted February 24, 2020 Report Share Posted February 24, 2020 This just started a few weeks ago. I’ve had my 2013 sel 2 years about. There’s a constant sound that raises and lowers based on how fast I’m going. It would be in the midrange freq. it’s not a low bass sound and not high pitched. I can be playing music and still hear the sound when on freeway at 50+ mph. It lowers its vol when I slow down and gets louder the faster I go. One time I was driving and the sound got louder when I moved my head over the steering wheel rather then just normal driving position. It sounded louder the closer my ears got the windshield. This never happened till a few weeks ago and it’s getting worse. Drives me crazy. I’m afraid that when I take it in to Bowen scarf Ford here that they won’t hear it or they’ll say it’s normal. It’s not that type plus the closer my head gets to the windshield it got louder. But it’s harder to hear the last few times I’ve driven so I’m lost. fbov Posted February 25, 2020 Report Share Posted February 25, 2020 I doubted tires, too, until I put the snows on and the sound went away. Energy Savers have a reputation for singing.
