mtb9153 Posted January 22, 2014 Report Share Sweeeeet! looks very much like my Maxus with Black Plasti-Dip factory wheels. Who makes those wheels if I can be so bold to ask? I like the more open wheel design, would allow my red Caliper covers to show more. Quote Link to comment
dumbcomputers Posted January 23, 2014 Report Share They are Sparco Assetto Gara 17x.7.5 ET45 with the stock tires. Quote Link to comment
Edsel Posted February 24, 2014 Report Share Have you noticed any difference with the lighter wheels? MPG, acceleration? Quote Link to comment
dumbcomputers Posted February 28, 2014 Report Share City MPG seems a bit better but it's really hard to tell as I have a plug-in and I haven't filled gas in over 2 months now:) Acceleration is a bit better but it's not that noticeable when on EV with all the torque. The biggest difference is handling, the wheels are .5" wider 7.5" vs 7" and they have less offset than the stocker so the track is wider than stock. Quote Link to comment
Braker Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Did the stock tires fit back on? Looks great. Quote Link to comment
dumbcomputers Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Yep, reused the stock tires, TPMS sensors, and valve stems since they were only 2,000 miles old:) On top of that Discount Tire added their warranty to my stock tires for ~$25 each even though I did not purchase the wheels from them (just had them install them).
