If you just shut off the car then the battery itself is warm and may have needed cooling. My Tahoe has some blower that kicks on after the truck is off. It's to dry up any condensation in the ac lines. Scared the bajeezus outta me the first time I sat in the truck after turning it off and that blower kicked on.

I think if you have the option you will use it. If you don't have then you'll find a work around. It boils down to what you can and cannot live without and what you are willing to pay!

Robo, I never could get the hatch to open. My dad had no problem. I realized I was standing too close to the bumper so the door would not open. I stepped back and it worked every time.

For three yrs you will have sync, so no need to update the nav. If you run into a problem you can use sync. We have a gps and have yet to update it. Haven't had a problem yet.

Welcome. I ordered my car Friday- SEL loaded. I love the backup camera. Will love not lugging the GPS. Loved the power hatch. I took a car home for the weekend. I think it's one of those things if you have the features you will love them. If you don't have them it's not a big loss. You have a GPS and the car is easy to back up. You can pop the hatch from the fob or inside. Nice features to have. I got a good deal so I opted for them. It's my treat! Guess that really didn't help much? Lol

We do like to pass a good time down south. Lol. I am actually in southwest La, about 50 miles up from the Gulf and 45 miles from the tx border.

Dad said when it's your time it's your time. Dad did the safety and specs research of the car. I did the hybrid part and the packages research. We are very pleased and excited with our choice.

We converted a portable building into a house after hurricane Rita took our home. Once we had a new place we hauled it up to our land and that's where we stay. Love it!
