  1. You can get the elevation from the diagnostic mode through the MFT.
  2. Can you put it into high ice at that speed?
  3. For those of you who are having the wind noise - open both front doors and check the weather stripping on the back door where it contacts the B-pillar. I had an issue where the rubber weather stripping wasn't gliding smoothly over the paint and it was rolling up when the rear door was closed.
  4. I have: Pursuit Series, Model PRO-9776C 5 button remote start security system with plug-in shock sensor and starter disable. F-, would not buy again. edit: Can you roll the windows down while the car is remote started with OEM module?
  5. Can someone post a pic of what the weather map looks like? I'm wondering if it has a pretty good radar overlay or if I'm better off using RadarScope on my iPhone.
  6. Yes, I hate that I cannot lower the air futher than my face.
  7. Luckily, my wife and I work in the same place so we split driving duties. The jobs pay the bills, at least.
  8. Can you take a video of accelerating to interstate speeds and cruising at different speeds? Also, you do have the gear selector in 'D', right?
  9. So far, I haven't really noticed much FE change, or any other changes really. Gotta wait for a few more fill ups before seeing if I have used less gas.
  10. Are you using your seat-of-the-pants-power-meter? I recommend that you do a few controlled tests so you have some actual data to point to.
  11. I've noticed that sometimes with the AC set on "LO", and the car first started, it won't actually blow at max speeds unless I hit the "Max AC" button. I find the blower speed much more variable.
  12. I commute roughly 150 miles a day and almost all of that is 65+ mph.
  13. I checked this again the other day and it looks like the speed between the gauge, the GPS speed from MFT and the ETM speed all jive fairly close. I realize there will always be some variation between the numbers, but before it was a matter of about 3 mph, hence my concern. At this point, though, it looks like that has been resolved. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pics or have any recorded data from any of that.
  14. After a quick (and dirty) data analysis on my fuel usage to date. Disclaimer, I'm not a math person so I need to figure out some really good analysis techniques. Obviously, the post-PCM update has limited data points. Lifetime (since I got it. Bought with 2,545 miles, now at 10,899 miles) 39.35 mpg (according to car) 36.95 mpg (using gas pump gallons) Using 12 fill ups from before the PCM update, Average 39.7 mpg (according to car) Average 37.38 mpg (using gas pump gallons) Average 97.7 EV miles Average 9.16 gallons (according to car) Average 9.74 gallons (pump) Using 4 fill ups from after the PCM update: Average 38.9 mpg (according to car) Average 37.9 mpg (using gas pump gallons) Average 83.7 EV miles Average 8.79 gallons (according to car) Average 9.22 gallons (pump) I started capturing data from the Trip screen at 4,531 miles (7/4/13).
  15. Once you get a good baseline with the gaspods, you should take them off and see if your MPGs change.
  16. Especially in a car such as ours. I don't know why more of the features aren't selectable by us.
  17. I'm at almost exactly two months and I've put a hair over 7,000 miles on it. :drop:
  18. Thanks for checking the OEM system for me. I'm thinking about going and having them remove this aftermarket system.
  19. I guess I've never really noticed that. Is there a particular speed in which high ice no longer works?
  20. So 40mpg is considered ice high? I thought the FE would jump significantly?
  21. I'm going to put a couple more tanks through mine before I can say if it's made a difference or not. So far, it doesn't seem to have affected the FE much for me (mostly interstate driving). They did the headliner recall on mine and you can't tell anything. I believe they pull the headliner down to install extra padding.
  22. My local Ford dealership (Jim Click) does oil changes and tire rotations for life, as well.
