I’ve had my 2013 CMax Energi since 2015. Pre-pandemic I noticed the EV Battery not fully charging and did so at a diminishing rate….eventually might get 7 mile charge. So, I stopped doing the charging and just use the car as a gas only car. I am thinking about replacing the Heavy EV battery to help extend the life of the car. Estimated cost $9-10,000. I’m curious on thoughts about the wisdom in doing this. I am presuming today’s batteries would be better than the original. Thanks for your thoughts. Randy in PA
