MI C-max

Thanks! My display is showing both time & temp so it sounds like the OS is up to date. I did the SYNC 3.6 update last Thursday, then I noticed on my account page with Ford.com that it's now saying I need to take the vehicle in to a dealership for SYNC 3.6.2. Is it usual for them to roll SYNC updates out back to back within days?

I just bought my C-Max on Tuesday (8/13/13) - how do I check to see if my computer needs to be upgrade to improve MPG?? Is there somewhere in settings I can check for a rev level??

Adair - I will definitely wave if I see you! You can also expect me to flash the lights and honk if I have enough time as well! I live in Monroe and head up to A2 on occasion for meetings, so I'm on 23 a few times per month.

I bought my C-Max SEL Hybrid on Tuesday, then Ford released this news on Thursday. All weekend long, neighbors, friends, family, strangers in parking lots, have felt it's their duty to tell me in some form of another that my new vehicle does not get the gas mileage that Ford advertised. For most of them, even strangers in parking lots, I have opened the drivers door, jumped in the seat, turned the car on and simply pointed at the left display, which as of Saturday morning had just started to say that my Avg MPG was 39.9, with only 550 miles on vehicle. I would then say, "It's not even broken in yet!!", then ask, "And what kind of mileage does your car get?" To which I got a lot "around 30" answers ... I just smiled and said "SURE!" I'm thinking the $550 Ford is going to voluntarily send me for this "mistake" will pay for enough gas for me to drive a really long distance in my C-Max!

Glad I found this forum - I read a couple of threads before joining - each one made me say "I didn't know it did that" and caused me to run out to the new C-Max to check it out. I picked up my C-Max on Tuesday (8/13/13) and think it's awesome. When I picked it up, it had 51 miles on it and the Avg MPG was reading 24.2. As of this afternoon, it has 650 miles on it and the MPG is already up to 40.2. I can see that it's already altered my driving habits - longer braking, no jack rabbit starts! I'm looking forward to seeing how high I can get the Avg MPG.
