  1. Actually I try to get up to speed as much as possible so when the ICE starts you are moving at a significant speed to get the most from each drop of gas. Grill Covers are the best thing you can do to speed up the warm up time. When you get tired of no heat and poor MPG's cover most of the Grill somehow. :) Paul
  2. I though about starting a weekend CMAX/FFH driving school, but don't know how much interest or how well it would work out. Maybe if enough members where interested I could figure out something. :) Paul
  3. A better solution is to eliminate the side view mirrors entirely. I have been looking at this as a potential solution and some CMAXer's said removing them was easy to do. :) Paul
  4. I wonder how many watts an heating pad needs. LOL :) Paul
  5. That sounds great Matt. Dropped my car at body shop this morning and hoping to have done by end of week. Jus how is yours doing? :) Paul
  6. Somehow I missed the ABA testing, what's ABA? Also was that 4" lawn edging rubber? :) Paul
  7. I was wondering from an aero stand point wouldn't it be better at the chin as apposed to the underside? Your location is better from not running into every bump and parking bumper. :) Paul
  8. How many gals. did it take to fill up your tank? To me it looks like you could have gone another 50mi. :) Paul
  9. Looks like your City is only off by 1% vs HWY is off by 8%, maybe we are coming up with something here. Anybody else have some results? :) Paul
  10. Just saw AD in Sport Aviation for CMAX Energi page 55. Paul
  11. I was curious what your current MPG's are since your not posting on Fuelly? Also how far and fast do you drive on most of your trips? I would have thought you should be getting as least 40-42mpg. Do you happen to have a ScanGauge? What is your LifeTime Brake score? Just curious. :) Paul
  12. Great, see if there is a difference between hwy and city driving if you keep track of it. Paul
  13. I believe we can scientifically figure this out by comparing Smart Gauge vs Actual and what kind of driving we did( %City vs Hwy ). I have Ipics of all my fill ups and actual on Fuelly with %City vs Hwy. On Smart Gauge divide Hrs into Miles to get average speed. Don't know when I'm going to have the time to do it. I believe there might be a clue there. Also you could get a total of gallons used Smart Gauge vs Actual and end up with a percentage overall, I'm guessing in the 3-4% range :) Paul
  14. You're right, but the question was asked if our CMAX's use "Freon" and they don't use it. Ford uses Motorcraft R-134a and who know who the manufacturer is. :) Paul
  15. It wouldn't hurt to come out with a Grand CMAX without the back seats and more battery. I like hauling stuff around and would appreciate the extra space. That is why the Energi was a no go. :) Paul
  16. Good Idea, mine's in next week. Thanks Jus hope you are feeling better too. :) Paul
  17. Is there anyone out there that lives close to the Focus/CMAX factory that can see if there are any CMAX's already built for sure? I have been told that they have been and are going thru quality control inspection. :) Paul
  18. I guess we don't know anything for sure until someone checks out their storage lot. LOL They would be crazy to drop the CMAX, Ford doesn't have anything to fill that spot in the line up. :) Paul
  19. Just talked to my dealer and he said that the CMAX he ordered has been built but hasn't been cleared to ship, the cars haven't cleared quality inspection. I guess the only way we know for sure is if someone went by the plant and saw CMAX's in their storage lot. :) Paul
  20. Similar but larger. I have orders for 2 center covers already. Paul
  21. If my car is ready in time I will be going to Phoenix+ and back should be around 4kmiles.Matt :) BTW I'm getting good MPG's with my 2014 FFH rental with Grill Covers on. Currently 48.1mpg climbing, but had over 51mpg until I did some HWY testing. Paul
  22. Adair, you need Grill Covers. LOL :) What's your tire PSI? 50psi? Do any drafting? P&G? Wax your car? Premium or Pure Gas will help 1-2mpg but not worth the money. Also driving below 70mph helps a lot, something about 70mph and above mpg's go down FAST! Just some ideas that will make a difference. :) Paul
  23. Nice job and it looks like you are going to catch up with me mileage wise, I've still got a week and a half till I get my car back. Paul
